Ever wondered how kettlebells are made?
Here's a quick tour of the foundry that I took after a meeting in Ludington,MI. One of the coolest things about our job has been learning how things are manufactured and meeting the people that manufacture them.

      @justsayin-0o That was the reason for the trip to the foundry. We discussed delays and solutions. They were only running our products sporadically and way behind on our purchase order. We've made some changes including adding a new finishing facility which is kicking ass and upgrading our iron to class 30 which can be run every day. We are getting through emails as fast as possible, but waited to respond until we had more information from the foundry. Sorry for the delay.

    If youre doing 100s of snatches of anything over 24kg without stopping you ARE strong and conditioned, regardless of how good your technique is. Im not there yet. My technique is alright. I had fear that this peak on kettlebell would hurt my wrist before i bought my first Apollo. After couple month, find out that it's not the issue at all. Even accidentally never touch this my wrist. I just use wrist protectors(without plastic inside) cuz i feel more comfortable with it.

    nice to be creative when you lack equipment or other ways to train, but when it comes to mechanics and range of motion, this version of the Dip is quite terrible as you have very very limited range of motion only performing what looks to be half a rep or even less. Even worse, that portion of the rep that you can perform using this exercise is in the shortened position of your muscle, meaning it's in the least hypertophic portion of the movement. Doing the exercise on a bench is definitely superior to using Kettle Bells, even better you could try to find some (stable) chairs, benches or buy a very cheap dip station from amazon to get a full dip workout, because dips are amazing, but only if you can perform them properly.

    • @ProKettlebellWorkouts
      @ProKettlebellWorkouts 3 місяці тому

      @RezoUI If you use it with Pro Kettlebells, there are zero issues because we machine the bottoms smooth and are all iron. Some bells are either not flat enough on the bottom or non-magnetic, so you'll need to check.

      @RezoUI 3 місяці тому

      @@ProKettlebellWorkouts I just read on official site "use with caution and at your own risk; keep a clear path in front and behind you while using." So is a chance of fall of from original pro-kettlebell?

    • @ProKettlebellWorkouts
      @ProKettlebellWorkouts 3 місяці тому

      @RezoUI We always recommend using the utmost caution when using magnetic weights. Early models were not machined, so the adhesion was not as good. I would always exercise caution even if it's machined, though.

    Where do yall buy your tampons? Seriously though! Check this out: Early on bells only came in three sizes: the one pood (16kg/35lbs), one-and-a-half pood (24kg/54lbs), and the two pood (32kg/72lbs).Then as we Westernized kettlebells, we added different sizes like the 12kg and 8kg SO THAT WOMEN WOULD BE ABLE TO USE THEM. So I ask again: where do yall shop for your tampons?

    • @ProKettlebellWorkouts
      @ProKettlebellWorkouts 3 місяці тому

      @EtcilYasam Kettlebells have always come in many sizes as they were used as a standard of measurement for weighing goods. 16, 24, and 32 were typical weights for competitive lifting. Many things have improved over the years. Thanks for following 😀

    I started with a 24kg and a 12kg bells, then soon after picked up a 20kg bell which has been my sweet spot and most used bell over of the last 10 years, it was the perfect weight to learn and practice movements like snatches, windmills as well as high reps for swings/cleans/presses. I also recently picked up a pair of 16kg bells this year. Point is 'heavy' bells aren't the end all be all. I don't train snatch all the time so having the lighter bells lets me acclimate to the movement without burning myself out/hurting my shoulder (which has happened when I think I can start 24kg snatches cold).

    There are several even olympic sports where the athletes don’t look “good” by todays beauty standards - olympic lifting, bicycle racing, marathon - think you got it. But these people are experts in what they are doing. They are extremely efficient in what they are doing because otherwise they won’t win anything. Short track runners (like 100 and 200 meters), Decathletes, Gymnasts - they look mostly muscular and ripped. And even this was different in the 1980’s when some of the greatest runners just looked lean. I think there is no “dirty little secret”. It’s just that you either train for the looks, or for being successful in a certain sport. And a third point is a highly individual one - what is good for your body and brings you fun while training. Personally I enjoy the Kettlebell Sports techniques much more than the so called hardstyle techniques. It just feels better. And learning the right technique is indeed kind of fun to me - although it’s sometimes hard (and hurts😅).
