I wonder why the loving God Mr Bordon worshipped gifted him cerebral meningitis at 25. Why didnt his God save him? This whole video is about a claim of 6 words in a holy book where the real questions are totally ignored. Enjoy the precious life thst against extraordinary odds you have been given.

Damn, what a shame he wasted his life following a fairytale. I'm glad he was happy with his choices though, that's all that really matters, enjoy the life you have as best you can because it's all over once you're gone. Ignorance really is bliss.

I’m sorry to say that you have gravely missed the mark this time, LifeCentral. I am so disappointed by this talk. Rather than actually discuss church hurt for real, you instead talk about something different and you send the wrong message as a result. To summarise, you say that Christians (or is it people in general?) have three issues: 1. An expectation issue, i.e., people are hurt by the church because their expectations too high; 2. An honesty issue, i.e., people are hurt by the church because they aren’t honest with themselves that either they had a part to play in it or that they are immature; 3. A choice issue, i.e., people are only hurt by the church because they haven’t let go of their pain. This is not an exhaustive list of ways in which people can be hurt by the church. But in the context in which it is delivered it sends the message that if you’ve been hurt by the church it’s either a ‘you’ problem, a ‘you’ problem or a ‘you’ problem. I don’t think that’s what you meant to say, but that’s how it comes across. Let me be more precise. For one, consider children who have been sexually abused by people they trusted in their church. Were they hurt because they didn’t expect to be assaulted? In addition, is it not naive and patronising to your congregation to suggest that people are hurt because they are immature, or have inflicted their pain upon themselves? Doesn’t this belittle the pain and suffering that some of your congregants might be going through? When members of my family left their former church community upon discovering financial wrongdoing, were they in the wrong? Were they immature to feel hurt and betrayed by people they trusted? And finally how dare you, how DARE you suggest that people are hurt because they haven’t yet chosen to let go of their pain. Do you think the pain and embarrassment that people feel having been abused, manipulated, bullied or intimidated will simply go away if they want it to? If only life were that simple. To top this all off, you suggest that if I have been hurt by my church, I should seek healing in the church. That to heal my wounds I must not flee from the church but to cleave to it and to seek healing in Jesus. Tell me, LifeCentral, if a domestic abuse victim walked through your doors asking for help, would you tell them not only that they should return to their abuser but also that doing so is the ONLY way that they can be fully healed of their pain and injuries? What a repugnant notion. Churches today are not properly addressing the issue of church hurt. What’s ironic is that LifeCentral didn’t properly address it in this sermon, either. If you have come to this video as someone who has been hurt by the church and are looking for support, you don’t have to do as LifeCentral have said and return to the church to be healed. You have other options: seek help from your closest people and if you need further support, Safe Spaces is a non-judgmental, non-religious charity that deals with religious and spiritual abuse. Their link is below. It is no sin to look after your own wellbeing. OK. You reap what you sow? If you want bananas, you sow bananas. If you sow smiles, you reap smiles. However, If you sow money you you don't reap money? Really? Why not? Why does this 'universal law' suddenly change when pounds, shillings and pence are involved? How can this 'law' change if it is hard-wired into creation? Please explain as I think I am missing something.
