We all know what's going on with western devs. There are A lot of stuffs/games coming out from China and some are decent and some are literal garbage. Just need to find the good stuff. For me this is good enough and yes It needs more polishing.

@casualmonger well NG+ Hard is a lot easier than NG Hard. You can't really call this a Hard Mode tutorial

Really? I did not notice the difference between NG+hard and NG Hard 🙌🙌. Maybe if you beaten a boss once or twice, the encounter becomes easier.

@@casualmonger absolutely. On NG she is an insane damage sponge and every hit is basically 1-2 shot. On NG+ you get access to upgrades unavailable in normal new game which evens everything out, making it almost easier than Nornal mode

I will have to tinker with the key binds later. I did not really use items aside from healing on the beta😂, so I just bind the keys that I will usually use. Now with those items I just bound them to F1-F4. Naturally my key binds will change as I learn to prioritize stuffs. Your key binds are noted and thanks for those!

Thanks for the amazing insight. I'm liking the Hunting Horn more, now that I discovered some just frame inputs using it. I am used to play with controllers playing rpgs and souls-like games, its just they did not have button combinations like with the hunting horn. Will experiment more with other weapons when the game comes out. As for the "meta" thingy, I am not a meta chaser and I will always pick support first (I am a dedicated support/healer role) then which ever is cool or weird looking weapon XD.

@@casualmonger if you want a healer build i recommend you mostly crafting an armor that gives you aoe on item consumption while using a healing or boosting item, so you can heal and boost your teammates apart from boosting them with the hunting horn, also fast eater is key imo no matter if you play as support or not, it usually is cheap to have it. There are healing and booster items with aoe base kit but there are more expensive and you can have less at a time if you arent interested on the aoe build.

Interesting, there's a lot to learn on those healing items. Will keep those in mind.

Yeah, separating parry and block makes the fights more dynamic and you can run/ dodge without worrying about stamina. Unfortunately there was no way to reset stats in the demo, hopefully you can respec anytime on the full version.

@@casualmonger Doesn't need to be at anytime, just not locked behind a few hours of gameplay and/or a boss where you might have already gimped your character. That kind of design feels more like troll behaviour instead of adding difficulty, also feels like the developers don't respect the time of their customers.

Can't argue with that, but respecting at any given save point is a plus.

@@casualmonger also I forgot to mention a few things 1. Raven has healthgates. Meaning she can only take so much damage during each phase. Try not to waste burst this way 2. Raven will teleport or move away during some of her moves. This can make you waste bursts. If you want to be safe wait til she glows red to initiate burst as this means she will sword combo you. Also keep in mind your invincible during the the Virgil burst 3. Raven in her final phase will parry your beta square. Switch to beta circle. Beta circle also downs her and is a range attack so it is easier to use then beta square’s who’s only advantage is doing posture damage 4. Do not be afraid to abuse beta chain or beta wave moves. I beta chained every IV combo I could in my run and often did spam beta circle when I found Raven was being annoying. You get beta waves from just blinking it ain’t rare. Just remember it is one of your main means to heal stall I have also been experimenting to create a burst farm build by proccing overdrive on an enemy downed through beta circle with only 3 star speed. Almost got it to work on the laser sakurai tree boss

this is the strat I use too. with burst boost 2 & 3, and speed 2 & 3. works amazing, you always have a beta to get out of trouble, and your burst R1 + O for the unblockable attack.
