It's possible that a TV series or special was planned, but never made it past the planning stage. Perhaps these animation clips were created as a teaser, to get people interested, but perhaps not enough people were interested in the cartoon to make it happen? I don't know, I was only about three years old when the Golden Girl dolls came out, and even then, I never heard of the line until fairly recently. Then again, I was more of a Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, and My Little Pony kinda girl.

I'd say the live version from the double l.p. is the best version usually; but this one is particularly well suited for this purpose.

As a fan of the Original She-ra Princess of Power. I would have loved Golden Girl and the Guardians of The Jemstones cartoon. I use to have three of the dolls. But l still have my She-ra dolls.

Too bad Hasbro let the rights lapse to this property. It leaves one collassal sized hole during these Hasbro, Eighties revivals not to see the Inhumanoids rise again.

Also I don´t know if you missed the point of it is just not on camera, but these are modular Figures, the majority of the parts are interchangeable.
