Street legal in Iowa as we don't have height laws anymore. Lift was around $3500-$4000, and I get 5 mpg on a good day. 7.17 gears will do that to you.

Just remember if you are building a rock crawler to only put a lift just enough to clear the tires and use bump stops so the tires dont hit up in your fender that will push the other tire down father for more traction its better to cut your fender and just barley lift it for the tires to clear so you dont tip it when your crawling.

@thunderbirdlver I also own a 2000 Mustang GT with modifications and to answer your question, no...nothing sounds as good as a mustang. :) I have to honestly say the SS is a tad quicker still.

you must of had the 4 cylinder, my 95 ES ran 190 stock on the klde, i upped it to a ze, then started a s/c build on it after i got bored with it, I dumped maybe 5 K in it including the price of the car. After all the work to it i think i had somewhere round about 350 to the front wheels, she ran very nicely, but tires were a bitch to do :\ A wrist pin ended her life.

Bought the roll bar online off ebay. It is a 7 suspension sky lift kit. 3" body lift, and 3" add a leaf/coils. So 13" total. I'm running 7.17 gears on the beast.
