Channagiri Hills is one of the 5 hills in Nandi Hills range. It is located at 60 Kms distance from Bangalore with a height of 1400 meters. The hill is densely covered with shrubs, on the peak there is a small Hanuman temple, stone water pool and demolished lord Shiva temple.

Nandi Heritage Walk starts from a village called Sulthanpet, Chikkaballapur district. Quite less people know there is a hiking trail to the Nandi hill top. This video we tried to capture how to reach hike start point followed by Nandi summit till Tipu's hunting lodge. The trail consists of stone stairway for its entire stretch with lots of shade, which is completely safe for a family hiking event.

The Madhugiri Betta stretch where there is no railing support isn't really a dangerous part of the trek as its portrayed. I would encourage people visit this beautiful mountain for hiking without any thoughts of worry in mind. Apologies for bad video clarity. Hike Date: 2nd June 2018
