Nice video. Beautiful scenery with matching music. Loved it. Thank you for sharing.
Great views 😊
Did comment but might have pressed wrong thing lol 😮
At the turn around point, instead of trying to step up, to go up the slot, use hands in slot and step around the apparently blind corner where there are extra footholds allowing an easy step up to the slot we just avoided. It's only a 1 meter (or less) diversion but it finds and uses nicer holds. On return, the hard (mentally) part is the descent of the sloping slot back to the 'tricky corner' I described above, and knowing that at the end of the slot you can do that step down on the apparently blind side of the rock. Good fun!
Great video Alan, what fantastic images, making the best of such a clear day! Thanks for taking the time to do this.
We stopped there a few times , Ken the owner was a real nice bloke, he had a lovely Alsatian called Helga who followed him everywhere. Also was a friendly horse called Boris. He had a stable right next to the toilet block. Not having a hook up I went to the block every morning with a toaster and a loaf under my arm, and not once did Boris fail to show up for a slice of Hovis. Great campsite and wonderful scenery, happy days.
Nice footage and location well done 👍 liked and subscribed 👍
Love it!
👍
There is and never has been any complicated taverse here. I've spent two days shouldering large compo ratons across this to get to our mountaineering hut at Loch Coruisk. My granny with her zimmer frame could have done this with ease! Total nonsense. There is more danger crossing the Paseo de La Castallena than traversing this doddle of an impasse!
It's much easier if one has had experiences of 'shouldering large compo rations' 😉 ⛰
The reverse direction is a little harder than the way out.
You didn't get as far as the tricky bit. Many years back I had to do that in the pitch dark and the pouring rain when my torch failed. It was "interesting". I was meeting someone in Coruisk and didn't want to freak them out by not turning up. Since that night I've always carried a spare torch...
The 'bad step' is no big deal if you are careful. Did this back in 2005.
Great video of one of the most beautiful places on Skye (if not the world!) but Alan - you turned around before the hardest part of the Bad Step! You must come back, do the whole thing and camp at Loch Coruisk!
I love it Lauren
Brilliant video so funny
Well done Kirsten and Lauren

Great video lol
What do you think of the velotop.
i've got one on my steintrike. i find it very useful in the hot texas sun. right now it is off as i am trying to figure out how to remount it since i changed from a 20" to a 26" rear wheel, and can no longer mount the rear rack where the veltop attached. bill
It's looking not so good. But you are dry.
Bill McBride whats the new 26"
Nice one
i have both 20" and 26" rear wheel and swing axles for my steintrike mungo. the rack i have fits over the 20" but won't fit over the 26". i'll post a picture here a little later. i had the 20" installed all around for a tour so i wouldn't have to carry two tube sizes and it is a little better on hills.
