Looking at the driver side axle after I got it apart to see how these were constructed. It still makes no sense how everything got perfectly positioned to come apart and didn’t cause any damage while flying out.

I’ve seen some weird things over the years, but how does this even happen? There was no hard driving, no off-road, simply pulling 1000 pound trailer with a small vintage riding mower, a Maytag washing machine, three Maytag engines, 40 gallons of water, and a few extra items. Truck pulled fine until I took the offramp just a couple of miles outside of town. The entire trip was maybe 14 miles the...

The set up at the Akor show. We had tons of visitors and children who wanted to see the washer and the Maytag engines run. Also using the antique stencil maker and the water pump. Heard many stories of days gone by and taught a few people about those same times. Was even offered another washing machine and a couple of more engines. Not sure I need to expand the collection right now though.

Very interesting video. Nice work mister
I recommend drilling holes at an end of a crack.
The "bubble stays off in the same direction" trick only works if you tighten all the adjuster screws first, is that right?
Where is this at
Hall town Missouri. The show is always 10 days after Labor Day.
Great video! Cheers.👍🇨🇦
Nicely done. Had a similar problem on a silverado and got it finally with a similar approach. Since then, I was wondering if there was an easier way other than using fire or an air blaster. Came across this video (not mine) ua-cam.com/video/cHuyseqOUHw/v-deo.html Have not had a chance to use it yet... but there might be 2 more silverado tires again soon. How did the modified balancer work out?
Seems to work good. I mounted four tires on the Dakota and fixed one on the old blazer. All seem fine.

Cool parade 👍 this is a fun show 🤠
I have the same tractor but PTO can't stop and i don't know what to do
Sounds like the PTO clutch may be stuck or out of adjustment. On this tractor it’s a two-stage clutch. The first stage you push the pedal down to a certain point to be able to shift gears. Then you push the pedal all the way down in order to release the PTO clutch. Also, there’s a lever On the side of the transmission that engages and disengages the PTO.
I have the same tractor but PTO can't stop and i don't know what to do
@@koechreuben4097 I replied to this comment earlier, but apparently it didn’t update. It sounds like your clutch may be stuck or out of adjustment. On our tractor the clutch is a two stage unit. You push the pedal down halfway approximately to disengage the running gears. You push the clutch down all the way to disengage the PTO. There is also a lever on the side of the transmission to engage or disengage the PTO.
I thought everybody knew this, but I guess we can’t expect them to if they haven’t been taught. Or are they just not making jacks like they used to?
mine only opened with the key only can sum1 helped me
Did you watch the video? Reach underneath and see if you can find the handle that shown in the video and flip it downward. Then try your key again.
You need to go complain at the dealer, they do most of the assembly..
I tried yesterday it didn't go through it wouldn't accept my mobile number
On my machine, the water funnel is under the metal not above it.
I'm lucky enough to have one too
Gee, personally I think you should have bought a Husqvarna.
Why post this pos video
Hopefully that alternator is still kicking and not one of those you get what you pay for especially with only a 30 day warranty
Yep, it’s still kicking strong. Plus I ordered a re-brush and regulator kit for the old one. Installed it. So I have the original as a back up.
That's good they made everything right!
What type of screws did you used?
I have several bins full of random screws that I add to any time I find them. I grabbed some out of there. Automotive trim screws with the beveled head should work.
Thank youuuuuuuuu
Oh no! Not the dangle. Damn dangle .
Nice job and video looks like a great hammer Thanks for sharing your time and skill 🍺🍺👍👍🇬🇧
Nice that you have a lathe :) It would have helped sort out the eccentricity of the outer surface of the cone to the pivot point for me ua-cam.com/video/zEBYJvfL0b8/v-deo.html My HF balancer did not work well enough for me. If you keep going with your balancer I think there is value to setting / shimming the post so it is vertical. Gave up on the HF as it had so many issues. I ended up going a different direction. Using a steel ball on a flat & level steel surface ua-cam.com/video/WgjNO2gt3xg/v-deo.html and then later on ua-cam.com/video/WgjNO2gt3xg/v-deo.html
Just finished getting rid of the clunk. Thanks for posting this video - was very helpful !
So for an update. Grit magazine, (sister, publication of mother news) was seeking photos of items that had been made from repurposed other items. So I submitted a photo. They included it in their July August magazine, and for the privilege of using the photo sent me the tidy sum of $25. So other than tax involved that covered the cost of the Hinges and latch. Today was the day of the benefit auction. The gate sold for $100. Not bad for something that came out of the dumpster. And the big plus was I didn’t have to haul it back home. 😏
Thankyou for sharing your video it helped me fix my rideon mower. God helps those who help others.
Glad to hear it
Glad I found this video before I got started on my 97 Nissan Hardbody. Wiring a trailer harness for the most part was new to me and glad the attention to the need for a converter was explained nicely .
Do you know where to get a filter for this? Mine doesn't have a filter or retainer or anything.
Steiner tractor parts has them online. Can probably find them a few other places also. www.steinertractor.com/ABC3277-Power-Steering-Pump-Filter
@@blue68chevelleThanks for the video. I'm trying to get blue back in action.
Update. So it’s been about a week and a half since I use this balancer to mount for 235/75R 15 six pi tires for my Dodge Dakota. I’m out of them on aluminum Dodge wheels using stick on weights. I’ve been driving in town country roads and doing interstate driving at 75. Tires seem to be fine.
Now, of course, any vehicle that’s 25 years old is going to have things that need replaced. Don’t think you can find one of these and just start driving it without any issues. One thing to look for is vacuum hoses. There was one in particular that’s only about an inch and a half long on this vehicle that looked like the outside of a burnt marshmallow. I touched it, and it immediately fell in two pieces with a sucking sound from the vacuum of the engine. So I have several feet of a couple different sizes of vacuum line that I am replacing tonight. Also heater/AC controls on old vehicles like this are vacuum operated. It doesn’t matter if it’s been kept in a garage out of the sun. You will probably need to replace some of those lines eventually. But all in all, it’s a pretty slick vehicle.
Update. It’s now Saturday. I received the reman alternator at the post office and will be installing it today. In the meantime, the redneck rebuild held up perfectly.
I forgot to point out that all the voltage readings were taken at idle RPM. At cruising speed according to the dash gauge the alternator puts out over 14 V.
So glad I did so.e investing and found your video before I made a mistake and used lithium spray, figured oil. Was best just didn't know what kind.
You saved me, thanks
Glad it helped
A man of wise words lmao thanks for the video
I think you should hire a lawn service.
Sounds like your issues happened at dealer assembly after delivery
It’s possible, but I’ve had other people comment they’ve had the same problem with the electrical wiring rubbing on the tire to the point where it actually cut through the wiring. So it appears to be an issue with more than just the unit I received. I also found issues with the blade assembly housings at a later date that’s posted in another video. I was able to send photos and the company sent me replacements. Then I sent back the defective units so they could claim them as defects against the supplier. Basically this video was to point out that people need to carefully inspect the actual unit they are taking home with them because the test unit looked and worked fine.
Thanks for this tip. I won't spend my money on it.
Built on a Friday. Sad!
Fue eso el problema de porque se disparaba solo el alarma??
Yeah the cap is removable as well, its always good to take caps off after use and clean them in paint thinner or alc for future use 👌
Lol that wasn’t the problem
@@stephaniegarfield29142I was agreeing with your little hack, and just reminding to clean them right after use before the paint hardens up in valve.

Yes, I believe so. I think there’s six of them.
Yep, I got the 'new' leather seats a few hours ago, 2 bolts in front, 2 on each corner in the back. Initially I thought the Durango seats would be slightly wider, comparing the center console in the Durango to the middle seat of the dakota. A quick measurement and it seems they're both just short or 21 inches wide. Will be starting the swap this weekend. I also got the full length center console out of the Durango....that will probably take some ingenuity, but shouldn't be too awful.
The bolts you mentioned that take the torx bit, do those hold the seat frame to the track? I ask because we just bought a '99 Dakota sport, with cloth "bench" seat, and I'd like to swap the seat for leather "bucket" seats and center console from a '00 Durango slt. The Dakota is manual track, and the Durango seats are power, I'd like to keep the manual track...i know i will have to separate the frame for the middle bench seat/armrest. I'm doing my 'homework' so to speak, trying to gather information to figure out the best way to do the swap.
Can I ask why you are replacing it because the gf's 05 just looses all throttle several times on a trip to town. It idles but won't respond when pressing gas pedal.
After starting and driving the vehicle for approximately 10 miles, sometimes after stopping at a light and trying to accelerate, the engine falls on its face. I used a code scanner to see if there were any codes and the only one that came up, suggested a fault with either the accelerator pedal or the throttle body. I replaced both of them. The problem still exist though. I found if it happens, I can let off the accelerator pedal completely, and then immediately push it again, but more slowly and the engine responds.
So an update to my situation that may answer your question further. My Pathfinder got to running worse and started showing multiple cylinder misfire. It got to the point where it was basically undrivable last week. When this has happened in the past, it was either faulty, fuel injectors, or low fuel pressure from the fuel pump. I checked the pressure on the fuel pump, and it was running at 49 psi. While I was messing with that I replaced the crank position sensor with a new Nissan one that I had ordered, but had not installed yet. That was Friday. It’s now Monday and I’ve been driving a vehicle without any of the described issues. (It still has a slight miss, but I also replaced one of the ignition coils with an older one, so that doesn’t concern me.) You might check that. It’s located on the passenger side of the engine near the back and you can access it from the front passenger wheel. Well if you remove the tire. You’ll need a 10 mm socket and a long extension. I suggest using quarter inch drive because there’s not a lot of room in there to work. I also find it easier to remove the sensor and then unplug the wiring from it. Hope that helps.
