Ummm… so about Abigail’s 5 goals today. Unfortunately, the team we played today showed up missing more than half of their players. Both teams decided they still wanted to play so our teammates took turns filling in their missing spots.
In the first half, Abigail and one of her teammates both scored 2 goals each. Abigail was asked to play on the other team and was hesitant in the case “she beat her own team.” I encouraged her to still play her best and offered an incentive. 5 goals total (for either team) and we’ll have a surprise. Guess who scored exactly 2 goals for the opposing team and 3 for her own in 3 quarters? 😏
So this will go down as the time when Abigail’s team won 5-2 (with the other team’s two being her own!). That team’s coach said, “Now I know what it’s like playing against Tom Brady.” 😆
So fun… James gets the credit for all of these clips, I simply pieced them together for a fun memory.
