Deploying a MongoDB Atlas Cluster with Terraform
I had lots of tabs of videos open about this. Yours should have been the first I watched.
How smart you are explaining the concept very simple ! Thank you
does virtual machine required?
Why call them Vector when they are just points ?
Points are representing data but the comprasion is made by vectors drawn between 2 data points. Comprassion and finding similarities are whole points of these databases.
That's the term used across many cs fields. Try a lil comp graphics and you'll find that any point in a n dimensional space is also called a vector
Very informative for a 3 minute video , congrats.
Thank you for the tutorial!
Very helpful breakdown! I had heard the breakdowns used as "dimensions" but I appreciated you explaining how the "clusters" can catch vectors that fall within certain ranges or weights. Thank you!
Great explanation of difference between vector and embedding, the meaning in ML/ML context and how they relate. Also, the journey from data to embedding is also really helpful. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
why do you create a new one, it doesn’t work with the default VPC?
This was really helpful thank you
Let's always do alot of good
New subscriber! I recommend improving the cover image so it is easier to find in youtube search
Thanks for your video. It helps a lot!
That was great. I'm a network engineer and most of this is foreign to me. You made it simple to have a high-level understanding of different concepts. That's all I was looking for.
This is extremely useful. Thank you so much Colin!
What software did you use to create the 3d colorful vector space? Is it MATLAB?
THe plots are from articles they are summarizing
I understand how this works for text, but I don’t get how it works for speech recognition. Are we comparing the similarity between pixels in the spectrogram?
Sound is very now. Not sure, if everyone experienced the same.
Very useful and concise. Helped me a lot!
Thanks for the crisp and clear explanation.
I have a question for you. If I have a 3 nodes replica set running MongoDB v5 with default write concern of majority. What happen if we take a secondary node down for maintenance? Like rolling index build that take many hours. During this time, the replica set only has 2 nodes, what happen during this time with write to the db?
Great video. Thank you.
My requester aws account has s3 and accepter AWS account has mongo db, now what kind of policies we need to give in Assumerole and will give it to the acceptor account as arn form.
This was great presentation on MongoDB. Only downside was I had no idea what some of the different acronyms were.
what highlighter tool are you using?
Sorry for the late response, its this one for Chrome - chromewebstore.google.com/detail/super-simple-highlighter/hhlhjgianpocpoppaiihmlpgcoehlhio?pli=1
@@colintalkstech thx!
This is really stupid. You can not see anything. ??
Thanks a lot !
Hi, could you send the config files for MongoDB Terraform, thanks.
This was by far the best video on this topic. Thanks!
What is the cost associated with this process of migration ?
I could be getting confused here but when defining the subnets to whitelist in the source cluster, is he not adding them to the destination cluster by mistake (SA-WW-CORP)?
2 questions: After you created vpc peering in GCP should not it send a auto request to GCP for approval ? 2.Do we need to create any routes after peering is done?
Thank you very much. Simple and clear explanation 🎉
I see no option like "Migrate data to this Cluster" after pressing the three dots options in my mongodb atlas.
It was turned on one side
pls make follow up video
Very interesting - thanks
Nice
Low sound volume
When I use Atlas serverless plan with AWS ECS, it'll encounter lots of issues, whether use a peer connection or a private endpoint(after get real hostname, connect will hint not found the DNS name), but when I use dedicated plan, everything is fine
Kids in Jr, High can write essay assignments on the school bus.
That's why i would like to know.
Hoping that this is not a hacker website 😮😮
I was chatting with Bing and it ended the conversation abruptly. I was curious about a UA-cam video and it said it was by Simon and Garfunkel, but I thought it was a drum and bass song. I jokingly asked Bing if it was drunk. Maybe it didn’t like my humor.
Mate how would the local host would be?
Can I ask chatgpt itself for tips and tricks while using it 🤔
Straight to the point... easy and not painful non-sense documentation reading... Greatly appreciated!!!
I Swear! i have been 5 days in documentation and still getting bomb of errors, not even ChatGPT4 can with it.
For those of you who don't have 5 minutes. 1. The current form of AI is good at taking directions, but it cannot think for itself or do much without human instruction. It is predicted that this will change and AI will make new scientific discoveries and solve complex problems. 2. Human societies have been limited by energy and intelligence, but AI is about to impact both of these factors. With advancements in energy production and the increase in available knowledge, the impacts on society will be profound. 3. Over the next few years, AI will become prevalent in the business sector as a productivity assistant. Companies will build specialized AI chatbots for various industries and use cases, trained on their own private data. 4. The next trillion-dollar company will be built on top of AI, potentially in areas such as search, biotechnology, or energy. 5. There will be a handful of massively trained models that will be used by most companies as the foundation for their AI systems. 6. AI will have a profound impact on society, leading to new forms of economic activity, job creation, and technological progress. 7. The line between human and machine intelligence will become increasingly blurred, with humans augmenting their cognitive abilities with AI. 8. The future of AI will be shaped by advances in data privacy, ethics, and regulation.
Google's will suck. Curation makes AI worse. AI performs best when just dumped information with no regard for filters or censorship, meaning to curate it requires effort, while some bunch of dudes in their basement can make one just as good or better by just not doing any of that.
Excellent overview. Thank you for the side-by-side analysis. Keep up the good work! 👍
We can create a key and use APIs, but they also have a waiting list for API access. I'm confused about this. Let me know if you understand what they are doing about this.
