Catching a Scared Weanling Video Promo
Very interesting! I wish I could see your Donks and watch you work. Greetings from Germany ❤
Great talk with some awesome folks! I subscribed to Mountain Built over a year ago and Alyssa and Jason not only do a great job with their videos but they are amazing people. I hope they draw a tag or two in NM so I can meet them in person. Even though I don’t own horses anymore I subscribed to TS Mules since I like hearing knowledgeable people talk about them. Again, great video.
Is the Equation like the old 'ride and tie'?
Golly! My 3 favorite muley people in one spot! Loved your video guys. Thanks a bunch for getting together. Maybe you both could find a bit of time to meet at a half way point to explore and ride and, of course, video....
Yo love from Wisconsin!!!!!
Wow you two are a great team! Thanks for sharing your adventures! Wow Girl Taxidermist ! I did Taxidermy for years and over the years i have learned girls make the best Taxidermist! I want to learn about mules so please show more of that action.
Shout out from Boise, thanks for sharing 🤘🏼
He is like my girl doesnt like being caught. Ill be changing my method now.
Beautiful Mule! Outstanding mulemanship.
I just got my first mule a week ago. This is some of the most helpful teaching I've found. I plan on applying everything that I can from this series and start saving now to attend one of your 3 day clinics in 2025. Thank you for your kindness in helping those of us less skilled (ie. clueless at times!)
very helpful video. I hope her name is Dorothy with those cute ruby slippers
Kindness and patience❤
question. how do you go about teaching respect? what would these exercises look like? same for ground manners and riding manners. (im knew to all this so i have no idea what im doing.)
so whats the point of this exercise? im new to all this and dont know anything.
Yea, I’m glad he upgraded his sound since this.
Iam looking for a well broke pair of driving mule about 15 3 to 16 hands I live in Houston tx thanks
Hard on r turn - step his r hind under till he gets good at stepping under himself w rh. Next make your idea his idea and turn right. Lead him right and forward with your right rein.Right? Maybe not? Just a thought. Good stuff anyway. Thanks, like to see you in NC.
What length of lead rope do you like? I usually let the snap get about 1ft from the ground so they can push to the bottom of their feed bag while eating. I know, you don't feed on the highline. Maybe an explanation of where you feed when running a highline would be a good part two.
5 years and no comments !!! i needed this reminder of the checklist in simple form. Haaa. Glad this popped up. 😊 see u guys soon.
I need to do this. My molly is spooky and hard to catch! Thank you!
Do you have any breeding Jack's in your operation. Thanks
Great analogy Ty!
Back outta my space, no squealing, here's a kiss. Baby girl understands the assignment. Precious.
Absolutely love your content. Thank you. Just got my first Mule and you’ve been a huge help. PS. You should turn off “for kids” on your regular UA-cam videos. It will restrict your view count. As well as people commenting on your videos among many other restrictions. “For kids” is designed for “kids shows” so that it’ll show up in the UA-camKids app rather than the regular UA-cam app.
I like to start with just a lead rope. Swing back and forth while riding down the trail then raise my elbow and swing overhead a couple times then let the end fall. Eventually let it swing to the right side (elbow REALLY high, like a heel loop). It's a little safer that way without a loop in the beginning. Love you videos, calm manner, and thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Great perspective, thanks
Thank you
I'd like find a good mule trainer
beautiful
Great video Friend. I like your approach and humbleness.
HORSE OR MULE ?
Out of all the Mule Clinicians I have been able to find on You Tube, this guy is without a doubt the best one I have found. Great Attitude and Patience! I also have to add that, the color of this mule I think is the strangest I've ever saw. at first I thought she had pink skin and looked burnt, but as I keep seeing her from the different camera angles. I concluded she wasn't burnt. now I'm perplexed on whether she rolled in some red clay or sand and is just stained or if she's actually that golden palomino color with Appie spots and Sabino paint patterns over top. I would love to know if this is her true color or not! haha
I’ve read gated mules which are due May and June. I don’t think mine will be at that size by two. I will think I will have to wait till three possibly
always love watching partnerships build
Pepper is a keeper, for sure, and that white dog is pretty doggone impressive! She looks a lot like one I had named Bijou..
Thanks for all the mule tip Tuesday’s!
Nice tip, thank you!
Love working with my mules, if they learn something they don't forget, good or bad, trust is key and can be hard to achieve.
What would suggest about a mule that keeps backing up when you want him to stand or put his halter on? He just started this behavior last week out of the blue
Is that a PALOMINO mule?!!!
My problem is getting her to send out. She will not send out. I can put a lot of pressure on her and she just stands there. I can move her hindquarters. She will do that. I can back her. But just asking her to step out? It's a real challenge.
Great topic, I have a Molly that isn't seeing me as the leader. Gave me something to think about.
In one word....brains! Mules have em!
Do you have videos of how to make sure that the colt is respectful
Working on handling hind feet. Any tips for falling into the person and leaning?
Hi I am a novice new mule owner of a sweet beautifully pushy minded mule. She is my First equine ever. I am so novice I didn't know how to put a bridal on her...thank the Lord she is a patient friend. I just found out how to do that but haven't tried it yet. I just learned how to put a halter on her...mainly right now I brusher and love on her and feed her treats. I would love any advice you might have for me. She is a trail mule and she can pack. I just want to ride her...I have learned that you can pickup her front feet but not her back feet...well atleast I can't lol...
What a noble animal.
Did anybody check to see if saddle fit was a problem. Sometimes they accept it until they cannot any more.
Mules are a cool looking animal
Disney feelings, It can be so hard especially for us women. When I went through "the change" I used to get my feelings hurt if my mule would walk away and ignore me. LOL
