Lake Angelus - Dangerous Ice
Barry and Clarice undertake a three day trip in Nelson lakes National Park NZ to from the Mount Robert carpark to Lake Angelus, down the Cascade Track to Coldwater Hut then back to the car.
A recent snowfall had turned to ice making travel treacherous and slow in places.

Pakawau Golden Bay

We stayed in a cabin at Pakawau Beach Motor Camp and did some relaxing, walking and exploring around the very top of the South Island of New Zealand. Pillar Point, Farewell Spit and Wharariki Beach with its amazing rock formations and seal pups. We finished with a walk to see Wainui Falls on our way home.

Barry and Clarice drive to the Kahurangi National Park, New Zealand and camp overnight at Siberia Campsite in the Wangapeka Valley. The next day they hike up the valley, about 12 km to an historic mining hut, built in the 1930's of beech timber milled on site where they camp the night.

Do not go up into these places without doing research on them first. This is how inexperienced people get kiiled. Otherwise beautiful scenery guys. Just please learn from this.
