I agree it is pretty stereotypical country, but there is something about Post Malones talent for being able to make a catchy hook that just fits so well, and I am a big Blake fan, LOVE this track, cant wait for the country album! Aug 16th baby!

This sucks imo. Maaaan....Parachutes was perfect and i wish they could return to that style. It feels like that this is barely sounding like a BAND anymore. It feels like its just Chris Martin with a drum machine and some synths.

Thanks for doing this one. I love it! Taylor is also a co-writer on the song with Gracie and Aaron, not sure why some sites don't list her. And Jack helped with the production, so a great group! There is a really fun video that Gracie posted on IG, showing them writing the song in the middle of the night, then waking up to a fire in the kitchen that Taylor had to put out!

I was so surprised that the minute you heard Downtown Lights you didn’t say, “Oh! She’s fantasizing about Matty while being trapped in the slammer relationship with Joe!” 🤣

I saw someone say that the scream is so raw and visceral because it sounds like when you do all the things you’re told as a little girl to keep yourself safe and it doesn’t stop it and that is so devastatingly accurate and kind of comforting in a weird way to have something representing that feeling In another comment someone said it’s because “the women know the scream is coming, the women always know”

I saw him live and met him. He’s genuinely so sweet and down to earth and hearing him live was unreal. He sings with so much passion and energy from his soul, his vocals are insane I had chills so many times through the night and he’s got so much stage presence. He was doing a bunch of back flips and he so funny he was roasting some people in the crowds and making jokes it was really cool. He never felt like a celebrity he feels like anyone else my age like felt like you would of thought we to highschool or university together. It’s awesome how grounded and still himself he’s remained likes genuinely ‘just a 21 year old who makes music’ which i think is a cool new era of music as Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish are like that too. It’s great to see society has made that change you don’t have to give up your youth to succeed in the industry.

Billie also produced too her credits: synth, keyboards, vocal editor and engineer, she composed all her vocals by herself and she sampled some sounds that you can hear in some songs in the background 😊she also produced some songs in the past too like What was I made for, Bad guy Etc Love this album sm so cohesive and perfect overall ❤ love her voice, and everything .. I think they will win a lot next year (Grammys) 🤞🏻
