Redcar RNLI demonstration
A display showcasing the work of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) brought hundreds of spectators to Redcar sea front on Saturday 12 July 2014.
Crowds flocked to the Esplanade to watch RNLI lifeboats put through their paces during a spectacular display which also included an RAF search and rescue helicopter.

We didn't hit peak weird until 2016 with Brexit, Trump and the death of Harambe.

It's Teesside. In some areas in Middlesbrough, you can snap up a house for a tenner and a pickled egg.
Owning 14 houses doesn’t mean you’re making a profit each month either. Sounds like this is what stemmed the whole ordeal in the first place.

She is finding this far too amusing and doesn't seem to grasp the seriousness of the situation.
Thanks for posting this vid, why did this guy have to be rescued, had the wind dropped and he was he to tired to self rescue or was he injured. I would like to know as I have just learnt to windsurf myself so far I only to it at a lake but I shall be going windsurfing at Redcar some time in the future.
Every time I see something about the RNLI I feel proud of all of the crew across the UK. But with this work I feel immensely proud of all of the redcar RNLI crew, and am proud to be part of such an amazing thing. This really is a beautiful piece of work, such a talented man, RIP Richard.

@JoleyLover158 Yes, it was at the start of the Parade of Sail on Tuesday 10 August. The ship is Mir, the large Russian class A vessel.
Sea conditions prevented a net recovery.
