SV650 Gen2 Gauge ECM Datastream Hack
Suzuki SV650 Gen2.
This hack uses a microcontroller to eumulate the datastream from the ECM to the gauges. This was done for fun but can also be useful if one wants to use the gen2 SV650 gauge on a different bike, one that does not have an ECM.

SV650 Speed Sensor Test
Переглядів 42 тис.11 років тому
How to test the speed sensor and speed sensor voltage source on a Suzuki SV650.
Don't know if you're still active but I want to thank you! I picked up my first sv650 was looking a guide on wiring and your old post from 2009 helped me and I was looking up UA-cam videos and saw you uploaded this.
thank you for this tutorial, it helped me a lot
Hello TeeRiver. Are you still selling yhis devices for SV650 2006 odometers? That looks amazing.
Hi, I would like to buy a Multibot. Do you still make these?
I also stuck with same connector i test all this but sensor signal out swings b/w .46 to .16 as per this your video it looks my sensor is bad.
Thanks for the helpful video! Tell me where to buy this device or how to make it. Thanks!
Omg you are a legend as I just got this bike second hand but an upgrade for me.....I was about to try and install a gear indicator solo... you just saved me £80 thank you. Much peace and respect
Does this work on sv1000s k3 for gear indcator
That’s what I’d like to know too!
Is it possible to buy this device somewhere??
I would like to do this mod/can you send me more info on how I can do this or have you do this for me. Thanks ahead of time
Is this still available? Looking for a Fuelbot and Multibot :).
Are you still making and selling these?
can i power the speed sensor directly into my battery and messure the pink wire, or does it needs to be plugged in to the gauge? because i dont trust my gauge.
Great work will you be doing multi bit again?
Sir, I just saw your multibot video where you magically gave the stock display additional functions, what are the odds of people getting it?
Thanks for the video! I i am using to diagnose a 2008 boulevard c50 . The bike had a bad rectifier and fried ecu , burn light bulbs , so I fixed charging system and put a new ecu so when i took it for a spin I realized no speedometer. I got no power coming from the orange red wire I think the cluster got shot also . Unless im missing something.
I just a problem about this . incoming supply from supply is about 5v at red wire..and i also check for pink wire its have 4.8v..what the problems it is?
I noticed that most people here are asking the same question. "How do I get one". Can we still get one, and if so, how? Thanks.
Try to contact the guy who made the video. Tee Rivers, either through here or he's a regular on a couple of the SV forums (same name). He sells them every now and then but it's not a full time thing. Good luck.
Good video, helps me a lot... Thank you
Where can I buy it ? And works on an 1000 too I presume.
I try it my sv650s 04 but is not Working like urs,is something wrong with mine

Just over a year ago,, I was fortunate enough to catch the guy on this video at a time when he was making more of these chips. After purchasing it from him, I was able to have him install it for me after sending him my gauge cluster. The purchase price and the installation cost were both very reasonable and his turnaround was very quick. I've done many modifications and upgrades to my SV650. The addition of the Multibot is the one that's my favorite next to suspension upgrades. Awesome, convenient and practical. I couldn't imagine the bike without it now.
NICE! Almost sure my DL1000 sensor is going out, as has failed me while cold a couple of times, and i've manually touched and it seems to be something on the sensor itself. Good to know i can be sure its getting voltage and the output and be 100% sure i have to order one.
Hi... Do you know how to adjust on 2008 Suzuki Sv650. Thanks
Hi, i from poland, I"m from Poland I am looking for help I would like to achieve this effect. sv650s 2004
How do we get one.
Why would you need a speedohealer for the sv? It reads the speed from your front wheel
If you upgrade the front forks to the adjustable USD forks from a GSXR600 you have to use that front wheel. There is no hook up for the old speedometer so you use your brake rotor as a pulse sensor to achieve a speedometer signal. Depending on how you hook it up, the speedometer can be off a little bit. Using your smartphone GPS you can calibrate it easily with the speedometer healer on the Multibot.
@@robawford2948 oh i understand i didn't think about that. Thanks for explaining it to me
this is such a good video ! Thanks!
Does anyone have info on where to get this chip? Would love to have one on my SV.
He was a regular on one of the SV650 forums (there are several) under the same name. You could try to message him via one of those forums if he is still active on there.
Just for the sake of the vid as the content is good but a fused jumper
I would like the gear position
how can I activate these features? thanks.
Hey Michele, You can’t just activate those features... You need a Multibot.
I know the video has been out there a long time but this is the first time I needed to check a speed sensor on Suzuki SV 650. Good video. Clear and without any wasted babble. Tomorrow the testing gets done. Thanks.
Thanks, this is the test I was looking for! However, 4 or 8 magnet speed sensor difference is not in regard of model year but on whether or not the bike is ABS equipped, according to Suzuki parts diagrams. So there are two different part numbers for SV650 speed sensors: 34990-17G20-000, or 34990-17G10-000 and both look the very same. Question is, which one of these have 4 or 8 magnets? I don't know yet, but I know I'm requiring the 4 magnet version because of a custom application I'm working on. Do you know which part number is actually on your bike?
This is a pretty cool mod, id love a Gear indicator without having to buy those unsightly blocks, how easy is it to do? iv been looking at this and an LED change but cant find any specifics
Hi are You able to share files like electric diagram and code for that? I would like to have in my 1000s :)
Hi how do I get one of these multibot chips. Can you suggest where I can get one. Thanks del
Do you sell these? I would definitely love to get one
Hi! Those multibot it’s really nice!! Can you sene me schematics and hex for pic settings?
Hello! I would like to ask you to do something else like this? Or just in full swing for your part. What would you like me if you like one? I like it. Thank you. Chris
hello I would like to install on in my sv1000 but I can not find it. If it's not a problem for you. I will ask for some info on email and some instructions on how to install this will be thankful greetings to Slawek spidermoto35@googlemail.com thanks
Excellent video. Thanks a bunch.
Where did you get this?
Where can you pick up one of these multibot chips??
Great man.
Really amazing video- I learnt so much from this so thank you- subscribed
thanku for this helped me out,,
Thanks again, with this I confirmed my speed sensor , she'za no good. Question: you seem to be knowledgeable about the speed sensor on SV's . Do you know, what goes bad on these sensor? Is it the magnet's or the pickup coil, since there's not much involved with moving parts. You had also mentioned the some of the later year had 8 magnets verses the earlier years had 4 magnets. one other question, obviously! if it's just the magnets, I can just purchase that part of speedo drive.
I don't think they're magnets but some electromagnectic field induced by the feed in 12v, causing a drop once the metal is not close, and a feedback voltage that is read by the odometer.
Very well done, This is what I was looking for. Thanks so much!
