PUTF-2: a 6 Type 6/12gt Universal Tree Farm [Instructional Video]
After a year of development I can finally release the second version of my universal tree farm. It fixes most major problems, fits inside a single chunk and is quite a bit cheaper as well. Additionally it is also non directional so you can rotate and mirror it as you please.

This is a lag friendly 12gt giant spruce farm which is able to produce 461k logs/h. I've been working on this farm for the last few months and can finally call it a finished project. It has a cage and a duper version. The cage version gets more items than the duper version and is also currently the fastest spruce farm out there (due to item loss in blast chambers) but building it is more effort...

I have a suggestion Can you make a version with 5x3 blast chamber layout (without duper) so the farm can use the end platform destroy blocks feature to make a tnt-less/wither-less tree farm in the end dimension
Already thought about that but for now I just wanted to get the farm out lol. I'll maybe try to make one but idk how practical it would be considering many ppl use the end platfomr for obby farms or concrete dupers already
@ People who would use this version are probably who don’t use tnt duping and concrete duping so it won’t be a problem and for the obsidian farm the nether portal based are a better option I think

Can the shulker unloader also be skipped and instead connected directly to a bonemeal farms like several chromoss for example?

the description says "Version: 1.18+ (since cherry trees were added)", but cherry trees were added in 1.19.4 (according to the wiki) so is the farm 1.18+ or 1.19+?

What is this you call "perfect timing"? I'm from bedrock edition...
The term was coined years ago and basically means that it can harvest birch and oak every 6gt and the other tree types every 12gt. There are tree farms out there that can harvest trees every 4gt so it doesn't make too much sense anymore

there is slime at the bottom that might stick to blocks on the ground if you didn't clear them

Amazing farm I'm trying to build it but I can't figure out how to place the pig, I'm replacing the soul sand with glass but the now the slime wont move the boat. Is there a video I'm missing somewhere?

Is this lag proof? And by that I mean will it not break when there is lag experienced on the server?
For some reason, the farm is getting jammed randomly. The set of sticky pistons that clear the logs at the base of the tree sometimes don't work properly, causing the leaf crushers at the bottom to stick to the logs. Any reason why this is happening or how to fix it? I'm running the farm in 1.21, and I tried it in the world download as well and it still doesn't work
I fixed mine and I think I got everything working except for the growth detection system, what detects when a tree grows?
alright I'm back, I want to remind everyone not to build this on the ground, the fix for mine was to remove the grass below it
I'm trying to build it in layers using litematica but it keeps moving around when I'm building it, will it break if I turn it on?
I also can't for the life of me get the minecarts on the shulker unloader to both be able to grab bonemeal idk how you did it

lag never breaks stuff if you're running vanilla. Paper can skip ticks and no redstone contraption is really safe from that

idk which pistons you mean but you can pushlimit them with a sign or sth and remove it later

theres a good chance it will break when unloaded. I recommend using a chunk loader if you are playing on a server
This is a lot of ressources to build in solo but it looks so cool that I can't not do it
