I just want to say the Nashville Number System should be one of the first things taught to new players. I think when you tell someone these 3 chords will always sound good together. And that they are the basis for almost every Popular song. And explain how you will see a pattern with the #'s 1,4,5 1,6-,4,5 ..... that you will never see in C,F,G or G,Em,C,D... When i wanted to learn I couldn't afford lessons but I ask the music teacher if he could tell me "Just some chords that go with other chords" ? His answer was an honest one to him. Well I can't because Songs are in different Key's and those Key's have different Chords. Well that's true if you only look at it with Names/Letters. Look at it in #'s and it's 1,4,5 1,5,6-4...The YT guy I learned from Scott Grove had been taking Guitar for 3 years. Knew a lot out of the Mel or Hal books but the teacher would not teach him songs from the 50's up to 1979. So at 13 he was ready to quit When his uncle showed up in town "On Tour" And showed him the Nashville Number System. He played with him that night on stage , finished out the week with him. And started "Gigging" in the Indianapolis area after school and on weekends, Eventually playing all over the country. For so many people they will never need or put to use Note Reading or a lot of other Theory say Modes... But knowing the basic NNS and how you can use it to Transcribe and also Transpose to another Key will keep them playing and learning. And to you dealers out there BUYING a better Guitar , String's, Amp's....Way more than those books that wanna teach 50 way's to play "Tom Dooley"

"hip hop is not just created by the people who are at the forefront, it's actually the people who are in the room watching those guys too." he's not just talking about the discipline, he talking about the what the culture really is. great content. i learned a lot. thank you

Regarding the BeeGees doc, “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart”, when they informed us about Albhy’s contribution was my favorite part. As a young (white male) teenager in the mid-seventies, I was a stubborn fan of traditional Americana style rock music, refusing to accept the growing involvement of technology in the recording process. I would’ve detested the concept of replacing real drums with a synthetic loop, but when watching the 2020 documentary in my late fifties, I couldn’t help but be mesmerised with that hippie counter culture personality. I should’ve resented how his inventions permanently changed rock n roll but I have to admit, I’m now a huge Albhy Galuten fan now.

For 6 years he was the band's drummer and 40 years later he realizes the singer's clever lyrics and bass lines. There then the advantage of being listener fans, such as us.

Why were there no cameras backstage Mr Taplin at the Last Waltz ? You had the cream of the Rock world there in a once in a lifetime concert ,yet Mr Scorsese did not film backstage! Or did he ? Did the late great ,Robbie Robertson have them in an air conditioned vault waiting for the 50 th anniversary of the greatest music documentary ever made in 2026 .....One or more of the guests must have had a little cine camera recorder to film the after concert celebrations ,or one of the crew ,with a personal cam to record the pleasantries for his own archive ? Fingers x' d ....all the best from Scotland .

Hello, folks. My name is Chris Moon, I'm a musician from Baltimore, MD, I used to tour around playing concerts, which I don't do anymore, I'm a songwriter, and recording artist. I've always been a guitarist, but for physical reasons, I prefer these days to play the piano, harmonica, sing, and write. Nice hearing you fellows.

Hey Guys. loved this episode, I will be watching more of your releases. for future episodes can you out in a summary of the episode and maybe in the title include what they (the guests) are talking about because at the moment from a user perspective, the only way to get the gist of the video is to know the individuals in it, which is a long shot. Every time!
