"ASK THE MAN WHO OWNS ONE"
Could you give me a ride in this car ...?
Wow. The last time I saw one of those was at the St. Louis Corvette facility. They used it to demonstrate the new HEI ignition system.
How did I just find out my Honda gl1 is has a flat engine and not a boxer 😂
Wow! What a treasure. As of 5/24 there is a Model T Speedster on eBay or $18,500. It has a Frontenac overhead valve conversion that doubles the hp. Very popular among speed enthusiasts back in the day, pretty rare today.
Beautiful interior, stellar dashboard and gauges!
Beautiful cars but that interior looked kinda fisher price like😢.
i can't see the car?
Who puts mud flaps on a sports car? :)
Oh god, I had one of those, in gold, years ago. No matter what I did, the only way I could ever get it to start if it was colder than 50 degrees outside was to put a heat lamp on top of the moter for 20 minutes. That small aluminum V8 wasn't that great either.
Zl1 2023 pull up 10 speed automatic pull how u doing I will walk that ass
Tell me no u boat with an anchor 🔱
Sounds like a sbc 350
Very smart, wheels really suit it. As always the bumpers are just awful.
Tucker the man was the Donald Trump of the 40’s.
I love these cars and very much hope to own one someday. That engine sounds healthy and the engine bay is clean!
Great video, these engines are a masterpiece of engineering, I have two Alfa's, a 1966 Duetto Spider and a 1969 1750 GTV. They put a big grin an my face every time I drive them.
The loudest sound of that engine is injector noise.
Wow, great car my aunt & uncle ha a 1957 Packard and I got to ride in it
Lovely car. Just so glad to not see cupholders and a massive flat screen on the instrument panel!
Notice the cloisenne Hub cap centers in green. Most high end Packards the cloisenne was in red but the purchaser could order the colisenne in the color they wanted. There was a Packard at Pebble Beach many years ago that also had green rather than red. The Indiana Packard Club found a company that would reproduce the Cloisenne centers. The club president was at the Cincinnati Concours and had those

This is a _Definitely_ mean of _Cobra_ Look at the front-end.....Like a _King Cobra_ This is why Carroll Shelby is a GOAT for all the times!
that's a bad MFer
Anyone interested in one of these 404 versions that works that I inherited from my grandpa? Awesome video by the way..!!
Very Good!... #32 ✝ {11-29-2023}
Holy crap. The bulb is working! They were hand blown and Sun couldn't get them anymore which made the tester obsolete. Nice.
Very disappointing to not see it running and driving.
Back when they made real cars and real engines. Now we have to put up with those 4 cylinder small engines with horrible exhausts that sound like goats bleating.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, another pristine car that will NEVER be driven more than 300 miles in a year!!! The BUGS, The BIRDS, and don't forget the STONES!!!! Saturday car shows, maybe, but a high dollar quality restoration kind of rules that out.
Why you mad bruh. Trans Ams was my dream car as a kid especially the beast of them all 455 cu with positrac. Smokey and The Bandit made it famous. Its the screaming Phoenix on the hood that portrayed power and coolness👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I don't believe l would have it on road with all the crazies out there now days
I'm first and loving it sometimes I inhale cat p*** before I go on a ride. South park style
I analyzed your UA-cam channel and understood. Your video quality is very good, but your optimization, SEO, and promotion sides are very poor. That's why you did not reach more viewers. Your video's SEO ranking is not good. Contact me if you want to know more about growing your UA-cam channel. Thank you.
Was that a Tucker setting next to the Speedster?
Yes it is
@@marklieberman7 Thank you! Great T. Thanks for sharing.
I remember my dad taking me to sprint car races when I was a kid.
Our 41 Ford had an air scoop but I don't know of any with a lighted Ford emblem below the rear windshield.
😍 👍
sounds like it could blow up at any second
WOW NİCE MANN 🦾😎
Excellent segment. Packard will always be the king of US auto manufacturers. And this vehicle is a work of art.
cool didnt even know that that model existed
I think Duesenberg and Packard had very different customer bases and the differences weren't based on money.
Maybe next time show the dam car!
That engine is 472 cubic inches, not 434. Packard 12s started out at 445 cid for 1932, 33, & 34. In 1935, they increased the displacement to 472 cid until the last one was built in 1939.
16th Series didn’t have wood-grained dashes. My 1937 Twelve has a wood-grained (faux) dash and Packard brought that back in 1939. Admittedly, I think this car looks better with it. And the green cloisonné.
Those drums brakes on the rear are just parking brakes . The main brake is in the transmission . Had mine wear out going down a long hill . That was a scary time and yes the rear parking brakes barely would slow it down . Next day I had Kevlar bands on order 😅
Indeed. Unless they had Rocky Mountain brakes you are SOL if that band breaks.
@@briantallon1 coming down the hill with the brake band gone off as one scary ride . I have a 1924 and the rear drums are steel shoes on steel drums . Good for parking , bad for slowing down . Rebuilt a ruckstell large drum and installed floating hubs and the disc brake kit . That was money well spent
Oh but before I got the ruckstell rebuilt . I had the Kevlar bands in and they made a world of difference
I had a 77 Ford Granada that was all stock. It had a 302 V8 It was super fast. The late 70s were the best muscle cars. Reliable, fast, cool looking with the sqaure headlights. It used to smell like rotten eggs in morning when Id start that beast.
Back in the day I showed so many people their hidden shifter "option" I lost count. Many people bought me 6-packs, lunch or something else. Most said I've had this car X amount of time and never new it had it. They were always more than grateful. I've seen them turn up on a few 6 cylinder Firebirds and Camaros when they ran out of the other at the factory. You can tell which ones have it visually, the slap stik has an oval shaped opening around the shifter shaft, the non ratchet has a circular opening.
They could not compete with a 1953 Cadillac Eldorado. Not even a 1953 Buick Skylark.
It's a Fiat 1100, not 500 Topolino
Interesting comment about the engine power & displacement. Not that it matters, but another illustration as to why the Internet is pretty much worthless for accurate technical info (yes...I own a '38 Packard Twelve...drive it regularly...!)
