😱😱😱😱😱 God is BLOWING my mind!!!!!!! Thank You for being obedient to this call!! It’s allowing so many of us to be obedient to God regarding accepting the call on our lives🙏🏾🙏🏾💕💕

I love this!!!! Too many times have I seen lack of discipleship for Creatives. Many times, we've been either "above the law" (really don't show, dont tell) - so the gifting can be used for church purposes, or sat down with no guidance or restoration. Because so many creatives' identities are in their giftings rather than sonship, it feels like a blow, and going somewhere there's acceptance, feels like the next best place (not hard to be accepted by the world... sin is easy). Also, it has become a business as well. If people can play for 15 churches and have no covering, no discipleship... It's as if the gift is prostituted... even in the church. Exploiting the gifts and no discipleship is like knowing someone is going to to go before the Father and say " But I played in Your name. I danced in Your name. I ushered your presence..." and He says "I never knew you. Depart from me, you workers of lawlessness"... because we did the will of the (compromised) church instead of the will of the Father. And the church knew us... but God didn’t. So what yall are sharing is SOOOOO GOOOD!! Mercy Culture's vision of taking people from corporate encounters with God to DAILY personal encounters with God is the game changer!! Knowing God is ESSENTIAL. 2 Peter 1 (starting at vs 3) does so well in backing up this entire conversation: 3 for His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us [e]by His own glory and [f]excellence. 4 Through [g]these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world on account of lust. 5 Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral [h]excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, 6 and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, 7 and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. 8 For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they do not make you useless nor unproductive in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For the one who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. 10 Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choice of you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; 11 for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.

🙋🏾‍♀️🙋🏾‍♀️ In full authenticity, I've been the problem! Since elementary, I've had to teach (especially dance). And I was in drill. They drilled us- hundredssss of jumping jacks when we got things wrong or weren't listening etc (Still appreciate lessons from those moments) But I knew to look for what's wrong to fix it and to make sure my team had it right so that we wouldn't get in trouble. I also was an English teacher. Back then (thank God this was years ago 😭😂 even before teaching) I would correct grammar in conversation. I grew up very critical and was VERY blunt. (And ofc to myself) For years now, God has been reforming the way I've been giving feedback- especially after having to teach dance in His Kingdom- so lots of unlearning. I take feedback, but often I'm expecting for the list. I actually want the list often- especially before the completed project. Back then, I would consider it a "grow" if it was during a project, but a negative if it was given after the work was completed- but now I see it as a grow for the next time! I also know what it feels like to accept a feedback that changes a vision God gave me just to "make things more simpler" or bc I've been told "it isn’t necessary." I love being reminded to take it into an encounter with the Lord and asking for His feedback!! Atp, I've been thinking about "the sandwich method," but I have to be intentional in searching out what is good- It doesn't have to be complete for me to share what was good in the process. Even God after every day of creation saw it was good- and on the last day He saw it was VERY good. And I want to be just like Him so... I ought to look for the good too! Thank yall for this!! KEEP GOING!!!!

This was sooooo good!!!!! Much conviction and much understanding of why many leaders have been unable to lead in authenticity because many of us saw repercussions for it and it was not celebrated. Confess your sins one to another so that you may be healed! So many things fall apart infront of the world because of the lack of accountability in private. Also, someone knowing EVERYTHING about you? Wooooo! That's deep!! Scary- unless you're with other healthy people. I LOVE this. This was a great discussion I loved the use of PROVERBS 19:20. Feedback is scary, but it is necessary if you want to grow not only spiritually but creatively.
