0.8 mm was a measurement for that idle jet 6:25 6:25 contaminated hole. If you have or a mate has a set of oxy tip cleaners you can within a minute have that hole @ 100% clear . Oxy tips while doing cutting Job have to be perfect so most metal tradies have at least one set. Many thanks for the patient demo. Vialle-F5 type(special)
Update: jet removed and cleaned as explained above . 2 different internal diameters, easy. Reassembly while mounted in a BA falcon used a old threaded spark plug poked into the 8 mm solenoid bolt hole to center my pressure downwards on the pesky spring, using an open-ender 17 mm to coax the thread and bingo so easy, wracked my brain for a week after the first skyrocket demo attempt with parts sprung all over the country.😊 , your video gave me the confidence to have a go and save $650 bucks on a reconditioned one. Purring like a kitten on idle, changed the PCV, a puff of smoke on starting, that proved the replaced one to be a dud, clear and clean now. Thanks ever so much.
Followed this video and cleaned the idle jet on my fg falcon idles much smoother. Thanks! Top of spark plug was a great tip. Cleaned the carbon out of my jet with throttle cleaner scraped inside with a sewing needle. Thanks
Bro I just did mine the way you said and oh my god it's like new hardly turn the key starts straight away. this is something I'll never forget. You made me very happy saved big $ and you made me a better mechanic as gas is private knowledge. I was scared to do it. I turned gas at tanks off and I did the job in the car i didn't take the convertor out and not any gas leaks or anything when I pulled it apart. Bunnings sell spark plugs for mowers and chainsaws I grabbed the cig weld cleaning kit $30 then I checked if Bunnings had spark plugs and they have the ones that unscrew $8 I put kit back on the shelf lol. I couldn't find any threads that size then I found that cupboard draw handle screws are the perfect thread too easy so now you know where to get them. I liked the video I subbed thanks again for showing us the trick of the trade that spark plug end is the bomb to get that idler out I noticed with a torch there is a little rubber seal when you put idler ack so people have to be careful and not rush this delicate job thanks again bro best video I ever seen that actually works fantastic God bless you sir.
My gas fg falcon will randomly get a ETC fault, haven’t had it for awhile now but sometimes at night in the cold the idle will go up and down from 1k rpm, if I drive it when the this is happening. To much gas will make the whole car cut out. I think a dodge fuel pump or even the gas converter freezing up. Any help would be great

BS how they do that, how can they not know the kn crooks. They'll fix everything but the problem, even if it doesnt need it. My car started to chug at idle i knew straight away time to clean the jet. 10 min job, drives as normal.
LPG mechanic is the one to look for, hope you find one while the FG is pumping, looking for one now for another diaphragm. If you ever blow one it will flood the engine / manifold with gas put the accelerator flat to the floor and crank it .That's absolutely against normal LPG starting rules , (crank with no accelerator) saved me wrecking the battery and starts quickly. Promise to obey the LPG rules when it's fixed ...big consequences if it's not obeyed.

A rough diamond video....or pure gold, for Falcon owners going crazeee over starting problems. To clean the inside of the IDLE Jet, SuperCheap Auto have "oxy welding cleaning kits" for the tips of oxy welders, does the job perfectly. thank you
like a hot knife through butter? you should get the "knife" so hot it starts to melt onto the butter so its like a butter knife into butter and they mix together and then forge that into a knife so that that would be the ult butter knife ever made profit?

I don't know if I'd risk spraying anything down there, wouldn't wanna damage the diaphragms in any way
