I believe Gods love touched many slaves. We cant just lump him into the full situation. I believe we all are responsible for our personal relationships with God. I also believe just like any horrible time in history that there was a split. Some may have had way more faith than others. So independently I’m sure there has been thousands of slaves that would say God helped them to freedom. And some died still praising his name. I hope I was able to give you a good answer. We were first created by el the beginning and the end, and then the elohiym said let's take man the same man created by el which is alpha and omega.
