I know this is a bit of an odd curve ball upload since most of my stuff is just animation, but I’m a little burnt out on animating so I thought it’d be a good change of pace if I upload Timelapse’s of my illustrations/doodles. This is my OC Mike, and he’s taking a nap in an odd area. A Forrest? A grassy field? Honestky idfk I just went with the flow on this one (a habit I do in all my artworks lmfao) anyway enjoy this little bite size Timelapse and have a good day or night, whenever tf your viewing this.

the smears seem a lil repetitive and weird, the fingers look a lil outstretched (nice use of volumes tho) also for some reason that impact frame reminded me of masahiro shimanuki.
This animation feels really nostalgic to me now even though it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long ago since I made this. It was only 1 year ago when I made this, kind of crazy to me the progress I’ve made in such a sort amount of time. I remember making this film at a point of my life where I was doing nothing but animating and I wanted to take the medium more seriously. Glad I took that first step~
