In moment I thought of a small shark, and then sort of dismissed it . But now with this video I’m curious if it was same thing you tracked ?

Hi! this one was taken on May 21 right next to the inlet at 103rd. I can tell you that every single time that we go record there (at least once a week), we have always seen sharks but nothing happens.

I have never seen that before. I knew that dolphins use their tail to fish but I didn't imagine that they would do so to make a predator go away. It was a pretty cool thing to see.

You can tell from the video that the current was strong too but perhaps holding on to things is not a common behavior for these tiny squids. I have seen it on small octopuses though.

They are so feisty 🤣

We just started using the drone this past December. I can't wait for the fall mullet run to start and record them.😀

@Vibrant Blue Great video. I lived there, I think the sharks migrate every May & November. Every day they swim ten miles up the coast, and the news has to scare monger.

Do you have a submarine drone too?

@@BastienStarFort scaring people is not the best thing to do. I just wish everyone would understand the importance of these creatures and learn to respect them. Oh I wish I had the underwater drone! One day :)

We actually recorded a cute couple yesterday at the beach. I thought they would be the first animals we would see when we started using the drone in December, but we have recorded way more sharks than manatees.
