Taking you along for the adventure and showing you how to maximize your time and money while you’re there
My name is Alex Turner and I Run this Channel Boards Bikes and Hikes! Snowboarding has for sure become my biggest passion, and I hope to one day live somewhere where I can do it more frequently and for a longer season. But I love to bike, hike, kayak, and anything outdoors really. I just love to travel and be outdoors; I don't like to ever slow down. My goal of this channel is too adventure as often as possible and take you, the viewer, along for the ride. Not only do I want to show you all of these places and experiences; but through my own journeys I want to be able to recommend different destinations, resorts, as well as the gear so that I can bring you the best of the best! and if you're planning a trip I can have content to better help you know what's there, what it looks like and hopefully some other tips as well!

Learning to Summerboard? My Recommendation
Code: BBH100 saves $100
Summerboard.com
The Summerboard is unique for an electric skateboard in the fact that you’ve got multiple foothold options available to make your summerboarding experience customizable to your liking and if you’re a snowboarder like me, the ability to make your summerboarding experience customizable and ride just like your snowboard. You can ride the Summerboard like a skateboard, use the foamies to make it like a skateboard but give you a little bit more control and something to hold onto with your feet, or use the footholds for maximum control and essentially give you a snowboard binding on your Summerboard. This is my recommendation for progressing your Summerboard experience to help give you maximum Summerboard control, while still keeping you safe and allowing you to easily progress!

The bloodflow Mark was a remarkable 👉 👈
I know this is a year old but just got back into snowboarding after a few years off and wanna get these but no dealers in Canada it’s looking like so little iffy on ordering as I wear a 12.5 boot and not 100% sure I can fit in there large binding any info would be great!!!
No don’t. Visit, that’s cool. Price me out of my house, and I’m keying all you out of state plates.
Bro fell of 😢😢😢
I love it. I have been a green tea drinker for years, still am. I decided to try Ryze and I LOVE it. My stomach is getting flatter without workout. I was shocked. I feel much better. I will continue to drink Ryze and my one cup of Japanese green tea daily.
@@136760mas1 nice!!! That’s not a bad idea to do!!! One cup tea, one coffee I mean. That’s so great to hear 😁🙏🏻
Pretty sure everyone who went anywhere out W would die to move out there
I can agree with this 😂
Never snowboarded just got a job at Lake Louise... Time to learn
Ooooooooo that’s amazing!!!!! What a place to learn! I was planning on coming up there this season but wound up pushing it back 🥲
@@BoardsBikesAndHikesright now is the time to come if you are American, or European, our dollar is shit right now.
Seeing that I'm like 666, I'm gonna go ahead and just subscribe lol! I just got my board in today and was looking for workout videos, thank you for making some!
Thanks for checking it out! You’re gonna love it! It’s a blast to use! I’ve got more videos coming soon!
Do you need a special boot ?
Nope ! Clew fits ANY snowboard boot!😄
Starting school back up as a 34 man with severe ADHD. So figured I'd give this a shot. Ritalin is hit and miss depending on the pharmacy. Wife has access to care that 99% don't, the ritalin there actually works. When I get mine at 27mg from walgreens etc it rarely seems to make a difference. So hopefully this helps.
@@jcg702 hopefully this will help you out as well. I also know the founder of everyday dose helped create his specifically to help with ADHD as well. So if this doesn’t, maybe that will also 😊I don’t have diagnosed ADHD but it definitely seems to help keep my mind much more focused and on track
Well…. My first time snowboarding is going to be without a safety bar….
Perfect north slopes? lol my local resort and they don’t have one
❤😂🎉😮😅😊
😁🤙🏻
I went skiing for the first time yestarday
Heck ya! How was it?!
Nidecker Supermatics are way better than
@@romanmgelman I’d like to try them at some point and see how they compare. I know they’re heavier and installed with a guy on a chairlift who actually switched from the nidecker to the Burton because he said with the nidecker he was still having to fiddle with the straps more than he’d like. He said once he got them super snug how he liked, then they’d be too tight to slip in his feet, so he’d have to loosen them to slide his feet in and out and retighten them. He also said with the design he’d kick the straps while skating 🤷🏻♂️I’d still like to see how they compare though
Im excited, because in a couple days i’ll go snowboarding at moose mountain in Fairbanks, Alaska and i’ve never been there beforee!!!!!!!!!!! 😍🏂
Wow that sounds fun. Lmk how it was!
@onlyannag13 ooooo that’s awesome!!! Let me know how it is!!!! How’s the snow been up there?!
what camera do you have?
@@fiercetig3r insta360 X3 was what I was using in this video 😁
although i’m in a phase in my life where i can’t get a snowboard due to me not living near a mountain and the issue of me outgrowing it, im still fantasizing about my future board, and id have to say the only issue with the clews for me is that they don’t have any good colors lol. great video by the way!
@kramster9963 ahhh it is a struggle. I’m 2 hours away from the closest resort so it definitely is rough. Hah I can see that, I am shocked they haven’t dropped more colossus yet. Thanks for checking it out 😁🙏🏻
I did alot of work on my friends house during his remodel amd he just bought me these cuz wanted me to try them wow sooo good
@@TroyWagnon-s4r ooooooo no way that’s awesome!!!!!!!
How can i rotate the high back to match my board edge?
I can’t stop laughing 😆
@@stas.d yes haha mission accomplished
Supermarics did it better and cheaper
Also heavier though. I would like to try them at some point just to see how they are though. I’ve been curious about them. I talked to a guy in a chairlift who had them and he said the only thing he didn’t like was that he would get them super snug like he liked, but then be too tight to slide his foot right in, so he said they were faster but sort of defeated purpose because he was still messing with the straps fairly often loosening/snugging them down
Should I buy x4 instead?
@@3shaLLoW I think if you have the extra money the x4 is worth it. I loved the x3, it’s still a fantastic camera, great all around, but as someone who has edited A LOT of footage from both, the upgrade to 8k video is a noticeable difference in quality, better resolution in ME MODE, and having a much better lens guard option that doesn’t mess with the quality of the shot are HUGE. I also do have a bonus right now with my link to the X4 if you pick one up you’ll get a free snow bundle. Both are great but if you want the BEST quality possible I’d go X4 insta360 X4 (FREE SNOWBUNDLE with my link) www.insta360.com/sal/x4?INRKCEM
Here's a tip, don't listen to a punter with a cam on his helmet. Yeah, I just throw my s*** around. Because i've taught not s*** like oakleys and stuff who gives a f***, and I can ride at a high level since the age of thirteen, and i'm forty four.Don't listen to punter's kids.
Do NOT buy this from Lhanel. The same exact one costs 25$ from Temu. Don’t get scammed.
I would love to see other follow along videos !
Thank you so much! I’ve got them coming ASAP! Trying to get the new home gym together and make room 😁
Going in 6 days and it’s all gonna be powder and snowing for 1-4 days
@@Oreocookies2577 oooooo that’s amazing!!! Out of everywhere I have been and haven’t experienced powder yet, Vail would definitely be my top pick to go back and get it there! I want to get those back bowls the way they’re meant to be ridden!
Yes! I’m so exited to go!!!
Anything to burn thighs/butt? 😂😅
@@angigonzalez4387 I’ve seen some but I haven’t tried them yet.😊
One thing I’ve been doing with my board is side/reverse lunges!! There’s videos to help too!

@@WorldZeroGuide I need to get back there! It’s been too long!!!
Thank you so much for this man. I'm a beginner in Pilates and recently just bought this board. I have been looking for a demo that shows the different exercises and the set of muscle they target. This is definitely a start! I hope to see more exercises on this board. Thank you😊

@goodpigz lucky!! That’s awesome!!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 until you get to the ski resort, then 🪦💀
So we’re going skiing soon and I have a Onewheel I have been riding for a year would you say for me to go snowboard or skis?
@@ThatPhotographer1 first time? As someone who grew up skiing, but now snowboards here’s what I can say. Skiing is a lot easier to pick up and get started, snowboarding is more fun in my opinion but it does have a harder learning curve and may take a few days to click. HOWEVER I do think by knowing how to ride a Onewheel it will help and give you an advantage for sure so I’d say snowboard. A lot of the same body mechanics transfer over. Just try to imagine you’re riding your Onewheel in your head and do those same motions and I do think it’ll help if all click much faster. You’ll still have a bit of a learning curve but I definitely think it’ll help you be able to get it down much faster
@@BoardsBikesAndHikes not my first time but last time I did, I was like eight and I skied
@ ahhhh gotcha. I’d give snowboarding a go and see what happens 😊
@@BoardsBikesAndHikes thanks I will
You explain the exercises really well. I hope you post a full workout follow along video ❤
Thank you so much! I’m trying them done ASAP. We moved so my home gym setup got all jumbled. I’ve about got everything set up in the new house and I’ll be able to work on them😊
Аааааааааааааааааа он маг
Is your case not moisture wicking? Get some silicone packs if not. Works way better.
Technically my case is vented in the back but I’d always done this before I got these 😁
You drink energy drinks on an empty stomach? Must feel awful.
Nah a nice big breakfast first haha
Doobie on the ride up the pass.. chefs kiss. whoever’s DJing don’t fuck up
Hahahaha
Hey man! Have you tried to reach out to SB about this high pitch noise coming from the motors on SBX2? I think you have more chances of hearing back 😅
I’ll have to ask them. I’ve been super busy and honestly kept forgetting 😅we just sold our house and moved so it’s been a bit hectic and wild
I think most board sports help, but most also don’t directly translate… I picked up longboarding for a season… fun, but still had to readjust once I got back on snow
True. This is the closest one I’ve tried to snowboarding for sure. I have a blast on my Onewheel and it helps but doesn’t translate over quite as much
I think you mean that beer and joint
💯💯
🤣😂
🥰🥰🥰
😀
S beautiful😮😮😢😢🎉
And so delicious
I just got a snowboard for Christmas
Oooooo that’s awesome!!!! What did you get?!
ALEX10 ISN'T WORKING AT CHECKOUT.
21 / -3 eh? I typically ride 15/-15 on my twin and 18/-9ish on my directional... Went to 9/-9 on twin first time out this season and I'm kinda diggin it... a lot of the real good butter riders ride almost 0/0.. don't see that stance in my future though LOL.
I’ve been playing with it. Torn between that and the 21/0 I rode last season. Trying to figure out what I like the best and what’s easiest on my knees 😂 Nice! I used to do the exact same for both stances but after I did the 21/0 last season it blew my mind how much control I had over the rear and it was just so stinkin fun to ride like that.
So 9/-9 wasn’t bad? I know I’ve heard of several people riding that setup. The butterdojo guy, Buckhouse, and a few others. I don’t know how anyone could do 0 0. That’s wild to me 😂
@ 9/-9 wasn’t bad.. similar to 15/-15 with a little more stability on a press
I’ve never used them , but if they’re good , I’d love to try them for the convenience of them
Definitely try them if you ever get the chance! I know if you go to a resort that’s near a Burton store you can demo a set! They’re a blast and ride/work so well!
Biggest complaint about the clew bindings…admitting you are an absolute loser to your friends and family
Cool bud
Got to try mine out yesterday!! Love them so much, it saves so much time
@onlyannag13 ooooo nice!!! That is awesome!!!
