Hi Top Hi Top Hi Top!
😎
Wow! Gorgeous work, as always.
Hobo! Hobo! Hobo! Hobo in 2024. Hobo NOW!
Gorgeous!
I bought a set of these and am finally going to get to use them Didn't a HB type guitar to take advantage of them but do now and wanted to ask what was the best potentiometer to use 250 or 500K Thanks and looking forward loading them in my old Luxor Custom LP from the early 80's I just reaquired
I like 500k for every pickup because they get everything out of them, 250k will trim some of the high end off. Either will work fine, go with what's already in the guitar.
@@MalinoskiGuitar Thanks man...and really liking your Stratotone builds Are your specs/prices on your web site ?
Henry, what amp do you use in demoing these pickups? Fuzzy sound - from a pedal or the amp?
I bought that very guitar right about when Peter unveiled his Type 13 SC 'Gold Foil' pickups. I mentioned to Pete before he shipped the guitar to me that I would have to have a guitar built around them. Lo and behold, when the guitar arrived, Peter had already swapped out the pickups you see here for a pair of his Type 13 SC's. Not only is this guitar a joy to play, but with the new pups, it's a whole new animal. Absolutely game changing for me. I ordered another set of those pickups and had Saul Koll swap a pair of Lollar P90's that were installed in my Koll Duo Glide for these. We were both blown away. Then Saul ordered another set of these wonderful Type 13 SC pickups and installed them in one of the 2 guitars he took to the Holy Grail Guitar Show in Berlin a few months ago, I believe it was a Koll Super Glide or Ultra Glide. Says something when 2 of the best guitar builders working today have their DNA in a single build. Thanks Peter.
Shiny, Pete! Impressive, as usual. Play that funky music, Chris.
Beautiful guitars, wonderful sounding and looks are to dream about. Wonderful work Pete, congratulations
Such a wonderfully open sonorous sound. Beautiful instrument. I have 3 headless instruments, but none of them are really high quality handmade guitars. I hope to get an ergonomically designed headless in the not too distant future. Malinoski Art Guitars have made the short list of builders, of whom I've contacted about pricing availability etc. All of the guitars by Peter Malinoski that I've heard have had great tones. There seems to be a synergy going on in that respect!
