@@KansasCityHomeTours painting woodwork in these homes is such a sin. The fireplaces are not even period replicated much less in close to original condition. Whoever thought turning the poor house modern should be horsewhipped. The greatest redeeming quality is the staircase. So much has been tragically done to it. Restored properly the house would be worth the money. In it's current state, only people that don't know what they are looking at would find it worth the money.

​@@KansasCityHomeTours also to note. That isn't a spire it's a tower. In these homes some have turrets and some towers. A tower is the full bottom to top. A turret begins at the second floor. I beg of you, learn about these homes. You'll be absolutely thrilled when you do.

It really is an incredible house! Kansas City is a great place to live, but not for everyone! Where do you live now?

Yeah, I’ve visited OKC for Thunder games, and I have a client from Tulsa. He says it’s fairly similar, but that’s so subjective to the person. Have you visited before?

@@KansasCityHomeTours thank you for the detailed response. i live in europe but considering moving to us and live there permanently. my objective is to pay the least in taxes long term. so if owning 100% yields lower taxes, meaning in say 60 years i pay less overall (compared to renting), then i guess id go for full ownership.

Kansas City is a great place to live! There are definite tax advantages in home ownership. Hi there! According to the listing, this house's property taxes was $10,000 last year. As you know, property taxes are subject to chance as the house appreciates.

We’re licensed in Kansas and Missouri, so basically anywhere in the Kansas City metro on either side! Do you live in the area?
