Today I was thinking of my friend Gary Denegall. I knew him as Olubayu. He was a powerful and committed priest of IFA. Yoruba practitioner. I got one last chance to talk to him as I left the African religious expression for a more powerful relationship with Jesus. It is far more than Olubayu religion and my former religion. I only pray that s I witnessed to him about the glory of Jesus Christ, that the message got threw because we can only be saved by his the blook of Jesus. I loved this guy and we were both very committed to finding the highest power but it was Jesus all along. I remember he told me one day brother yao...I met a guy in Georgia who said that he practiced the same way we did but he does all of his spiritual work under the name of Jesus because it makes the spiritual work stronger. I believe that was a sign that Christ was reaching out to him. God has not forgotten us we ought not forget him and the sacrifice he made for all of us. God bless the family of Gary Denegall!

I miss my son sooo much. I dropped him off at school the day he died. I was driving off and he stopped me. I said boy you gonna be late he came back to the car and said dad I forgot to tell you i love you i said i love you too. Those were our last words to each other. I came home from work and found him dead in his room. Im still physically alive but August 2 2024 at 10:15 pm i died along with my son. Life will never be the same.
