Amazing! Do the motors only drive the crane joints in one direction? What's moving in other direction?

@@nicochan20042010 Thanks! How does the crane move down? Is it gravity or spring or motor?
The crane is moved by a thin nylon string. A motor rotates a pulley and winds up the string to bend and extend the joints. Movement to the opposite side is made possible by stretching the string in both directions, forward and reverse, and directly transmitting the forward and reverse directions of the motor.
