@nathanbulle5782 would you ever consider building a custom rotary unit for us here in bc Canada? I have someone that will build the enclosure for it here and love this most recent design. Happy to discuss budget and look into shipping possibilities. We would like to operate one with a full soundsystem on galiano island in bc to integrate infrasound into live electronic experimental, ambient leaning bass music performances. Thank you for considering.

Thank you for sharing this. I just bought one of these for £10 (Amazon UK). Reassuring that from your test they sound better than Bose! So far so good for me. My Ray-Ban frame is a little thick so they are just about clipped on. I can't push them too far back and closer to my ear to make it louder and get better base. Nice to see the insides of it.

I appreciate the hard work you put in this project but in my own opinion rotary is not the way to go for a smaller speaker system because rotary needs a big space to make the back and forth alternating air pressure, for example a closed room or a car boot etc. In order to make big bass from a small speaker, what you need to work on is some system in which a small speaker is made in such a way that when it is placed/stuck on a surface, it utilises that surface to make bass by sending vibrations down to it. In fact, I've seen this kind of a small portable speaker in a video that is bass-less when hand held but makes a massive bass as soon as it is placed on a hollow and hard surface. Probe into this theory and maybe you get better results.

Okay so first of all let me give ol' boy props. To my knowledge he is certainly the first to achieve this setup in a vehicle. Good for you bro Okay now for the negative. So at first when we're hearing general music tones it's super disappointing. All tones are squelched or being denied by the crossovers. So sounds terrible. Not until he picked up doing sweeps did this build even become apparent. As such, when he did, you could certainly see / hear What was going down. And what was going down were the Hertz. I don't doubt that he can achieve 10 Hertz, possibly down to zero. The question remains, why? Now, to do this in the home I can get a better grasp on why, I guess . However, in such a small vehicle, any vehicle for that matter, this just seems pointless. The only vehicle I can see ever using this in & having a real need for it is someone who is participating in hi end SpL competitions. Otherwise it seems to me you're just tearing up your vehicle for no reason, being The addition of the rotary sub unfortunately does not add to the listeners experience in a positive way.

That was great! Thanks for showing us what frequencies can do. The way that they made the blades of your fan respond was impressive. I would like to hear the sub if it was not so close to the rear deck and back window. There is going to be a sweet spot for that sub, but for a sub that big, the rear deck and back window should be at least a few feet away. Very interesting video.
