Souls of the sea explores the reason behind both Marjan and Ken’s motivations to swim in the sea. We are first introduced to Marjan and her childhood memories on the beach and then we meet Ken. We are told about their story together and individually.
This documentary is to hopefully show people that no matter how frightened you are of something, taking the step forward to overcoming your fears might be the best thing you’ll ever do. Ken now swims in the sea every morning at Low Rock.
It also shows and tells us that we are all connected with the sea. Whether you enjoy swimming or not, we are all tied in with the Open Water, whether you're miles apart or close by, the sea can bring a sort of comfort and closeness to home, as it surrounds the Earth.
