DIY Hack DJI Mini 2 for Signal boost, No NFZ & Altitude limit
This tutorial teaches you to hack your DJI Mini 2 using drone-hacks.com.
With the hacks the drone flies in FCC signal boost mode, the altitude limit has been removed, the No Fly Zones have been removed and the LED no longer blinks. Use at least drone-hacks.com version 1.33 to hack the DJI Mini 2.
🕑 Timestamps
0:14 - Drone in CE mode
0:32 - No unlocking licenses installed. A 'license' is needed to remove the NFZ (no fly zones)
and remove the altitude limit.
01:40 - Flash the firmware to version 01.06.0200.
03:12 - Enable FCC/signal boost mode.
05:07 - Install the certificate to remove the NFZ (no fly zones) and remove the altitude limit.
05:37 - Turn off flashing LED.
06:11 - Activate the FCC/Signal Boost hack.
07:20 - Certificate to remove the NFZ and altitude limit is installed.
To activate the FCC/Signal Boost hack:
1. power on the drone
2. push the button at the rear for 2 seconds
3. push the button at the rear for 2 seconds again
4. When the LED blinks red the hack is complete
This procedure has to be applied before each flight in FCC mode.

the air 2 s and the air 2 have different options , what you be able to do on the air 2 you will not be able to do on the air 2 s, the air 2 s might just be incompatible. buy you an air 2 like your previous one.

Tried this today, did not work any more... I have the latest updates for Mavic 2 Pro and Smart Controller. Setup went well, but after restart the drone was recognized as Not the selected model. So suggest was to switch to correct model. Then restart, but then I got an error message that the firmware was not good... I ignored the message... I think the hack is out smarted with newer updates. :(
