Pioneer arms is not a good company and I wish people wouldn’t buy hellpups they are crap and can have poor head spacing,they look nice and seem to have great potential but they are horribly over gassed making them obnoxious to shoot even with a brace. Avoid and get a zpap92. Do not buy any aks with cast trunnions. I had a hellpup and sold it for a loss within months. The trunnion material looks to be of some weird copper material

Can I do this to the Westinghouse WGen5300DFcv 5300-Watt Dual Fuel generator. I havent gotten it yet so not sure if I can get an adapter plate or find a flex line that will fit over end like in this video. Ahy one any thoughts or experience.

Exactly! I watched over 20 self-help videos .I bought my soundproof panels from Amazon to do my box, 2 fans push / pull & 2 - 8" x 8" vents. Box runs around 180 degrees & muffler at 350 degrees. Overkill maybe but work's & I only had to buy this stuff once with nothing left over.

When I got my new hose I simply took it to the car wash & shot hot soapy water through it inside & out. Ive heard of people using brake cleaner too then dipping into hot soapy water submerged in a 5 gallon bucket overnight then rinse. After all, its stainless steel. I ran 10 foot at 1" piping so as to prevent back pressure.

There's usually a bad apple in every bushel. I have a new pioneer ak haven't shot it yet but for appearance it's better than most companies and tightness of everything is extremely rare for ak rifles quality control looks perfect.

The extra muffler won’t make the machine any quieter. First off it’s a stupid cheap “MUFFLER” technically it’s it doesn’t fall under the definition of a muffler. 2nd, your noise doesn’t come from the exhaust. Not at all. It’s loud because of the engine noise. Plain an simple. If you want it quiet, build, buy, have someone build a box for it with dyno mat or fireproof insulation sheets. Sides and top, cut multiple holes with rubber grommets to run your wires through, but a hole for a square 10x10 or 12x12 attic fan that you install to pull the HOT AIR OUT!! Then another hole at the opposite end with a decent size vent so outside air can be pulled in and the fan pulls the cool air in and hot air out!!! Etc etc etc there’s more but that the just of it. In a side note the exhaust hose (minister the muffler) drill another hole and run it AWAY from the box or some metal flashing and c clamps and run it upward and bend the top away from the home

You must have an older one. Mine has the last two digits of the date of manufacture after the number on the trunnion. The newer models have either cast or forged front trunnions. On the 7.62x39 newer models after the two digit date there will be an “F” for forged and nothing after the date for a cast. It’s not my primary but it is nice. As long as the QC on the casting is done properly it should be fine for the average person, as others have suggested get some “Go/No Go” gauges and check the head spacing every few hundred rounds and inspect it for any deformities or cracks. Take pictures of the trunnion and the rest of the cast parts when it’s new so you have a blueprint to go by.

That looks like you ran a screwdriver down it. It doesnt even look cracked. It looks scraped. And the bullets getting pressed into the cases will happen anytime you get a double feed. Il not saying you are lying...but im not ready to say these are terrible rifles yet either cause mine runs like a top.

I've never bought a pair of Rothco's, but I did try a few pairs on. They didn't fit well and felt cheap. Sorry you had get such a lousy pair of boots. Maybe by now you've had success in getting your refund.

Smh, I fooled myself and just bought one yesterday (under folder). If it cracks at the trunnion I’ll send in under their “claimed” lifetime warranty and if it can’t be fixed they’ll replace it. The replacement, I’ll hang it over my fireplace as a decoration or gut it for parts lol. Either way, I have a Zastava M70 170th anniversary edition on the way to my FFL and I’m just waiting on the call that it’s delivered. When I pick up my m70, I’m gonna zero it, clean it and pack it full of grease and oil and store it away. This Pioneer was just something to try out and to use as a back up. I’ll pick up a nice WBP JACK. I like the write ups on them. I noticed that on the left side (where the ID numbers are) the bolt carrier makes contact on the elongated part of the trunnion and on the charging handle side there is a small gap. Is that normal. Literally have not fired a round through it yet. I keep reading that milled AK’s have a small gap on the left and stamped AK/AKM’s sometimes have a small gap on the right side (bolt carrier doesn’t touch the front trunnion, is this common?

I went all over town looking for a pipe to fit the stinger.i read the diameter was 7/8 and 15/16 could not find anything to fit tight. Went to ace hardware wilco coastal and a pipe pump company.looks like brass fittings are the winner for size ...were do I buy the flex pipe you show in your video.?

Just got one at a gun show for $675. Gonna test it next weekend. Fit and finish looks nice but I won't know if it's a paperweight until I shoot it. If you don't have a warranty, take that thing to a gunsmith and have it checked out.

Actually.... Pioneer is FB Radom... Radom was converted to Circle 11 in the 1950's, then purchased by Pioneer/Interarms. The same cast trunnion and nitride barrels are used in full auto military rifles around the world without failure.

This is not an Alpha CWU 45 and as such cannot be compared in terms of quality with an original Alpha CWU 45😒

I bought my first Alpha CWU 45 back in 2000, believe it or not it still looks super sharp, I only dry cleaned it and of course if you take care of your flight jacket it will last and look good for a very long time. There's no way an original Alpha jacket will let you down in terms of quality , i have been wearing them for the past thirty years plus and all good , never an issue whatsoever, don't buy cheap copies and you'll be perfectly fine✊🏻

The alpha ones arent really used by the military. They are nylon and are now made in china, which is why they are around 200 dollars. The military ones are made of Nomex and are around 670.
