That ' s why we need to pray for our pastors. It ' s the work of the enemy to deceive and to cause a stumbling block in our faith. There is forgivenesd for Pastor Evans. God ' s steadfast love never ceases. But its wounding for the fliocks. and depressing fiot those who fall.. That ' s why we are told to be vigilant. We also have to look to God and not to man . And to give the glory only to God to whom all glory belongs.

Yes, we all fall short, but pastors are held to a higher standard. We have to stop making excuses for pastors where the sin disqualifies them for service, period, full stop!!

We must have our faith challenged to bring out its genuineness. As St. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, "...but he (Jesus) said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness." Who is the stronger person? The one who does the job but needs constant reinforcement or the one who does the same job without acknowledgement? Toward the end of her life, the Lord gave her the consolations she needed to return home in His peace.

There are still in existence 26 documents written by 12 men, 10 Christians and 2 Non-Christians (Tacitus and Josephus), written within 90 years of Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, who explicitly stated that the Lord Jesus Christ died by execution. 7 of these men stated explicitly including all four Gospel accounts and Paul, and Josephus and Tacitus, that our Lord was executed in Judea in the time of Pontius Pilate. All this aligns with archaeological finds as well. I don't believe there is any other account of ancient history that comes anywhere near this record of recorded affirmation. It is true that people will scoff at these ideas, so what's new? Even the 4th century Nag Hammadi Gnostic writings state Jesus rose again from the dead, though they took it as spiritual and not wholly physical! The evidence is overwhelming for Paul to have written 1 Corinthians as it was referred to explicitly by 5 writers wtihin 100 years of its composition, most notably Paul himself, and by Clement of Rome (1Clement). Are we forgetting that these leaders are causing GODs name to be maligned???? The fact that their sin is public lets me know that GOD delt with them privately but they didn’t listen. They cause both believers and sinners to think that there is no true deliverance or strength in HIS name cause they are preaching holiness while sinning and disqualifing others. Hypocritical and disingenuous men without self control hiding behind a pulpit!!!! I can’t respect that and I resent it!!!
