UA-cam "Mary's Nest" has a recipe for making an easy bread by grinding wheat berries in a blender. I make bread this way by following Mary's instructions. I start with wheat berries and water. I add applesauce and blend for a few minutes until the mixture makes a dough that gets warm from the grinding in the blender. Then I pour it into my big mixing bowl and mix in some honey and test the temperature of the batter before adding the yeast, then stir in the rest of the ingredients: flour, salt, sunflower seeds or whatever else I want to experiment with. I spoon the batter into two parchment lined loaf pans. (The parchment paper gets re-used four or five times. No pans to wash). The paper won't catch on fire in the oven as long as you bake at a medium temperature. (? under 450 degrees ?) I preheat the oven briefly and turn the oven off so the oven is just warm, not hot. I put the pans of dough in the oven, shut the door and set the timer for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, I take the raised loaves out of the oven to preheat the oven for baking. I think it's 350 degrees for 45 minutes? Can't remember. I like to lift the bread out of the pans by holding onto the paper borders. I spread a little oil on the hot bread so sesame seeds will stick and the crust will soften a bit. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for showing us how to grind wheat in a coffee grinder. I need to grind up some berries to make some flour for banana bread now. I think the little grinder could easily overheat, so I might have to let it cool in between small batches. ( I have more time than money) -------------------------------------------------------------------- I like to buy organic wheat berries because they will stay fresh longer than flour. I sprinkle a little Food Grade Diatomaceous earth in the sack of berries to kill any bugs that want to eat organic. MOST OF OUR FOOD, including grain, is harvested with weed killer. Roundup is one of the brands of this poison. It is sprayed on the crops in the field about two weeks before they are ripe. The plants ripen and absorb the poison. They dry up and die so they can be processed and sold early. The poison is inside the plants. It cannot be washed off. I think gluten is a problem for people, but most of us have an allergy to poison. Our food supply is being threatened in many ways, even the organic food.

I have a vitamin with the dry container it does a bag of beans in 10 seconds. I have a coffee grinder also but I have to do 3 batches to grind a bag of beans.

Use a bit of butter or oil and cook on a lower heat. It won’t stick to the pan and will cook more evenly ! Looks great though 🎉

This thing is absolute junk. Lasted maybe 150 seal cycles and pump diaphram is shot. No parts available. Yes we bought and changed the seals... overpriced junk

TY. Is it a bad idea to do 3 layers per a sheet as I want to do a years worth >_< Also. How long does it take to cook the frozen blanched vs. fresh non blanched ? Any version of cooking as I do fry and air fry. and deep fry.

I too am trying to grow potatoes in a container this year. Instead of adding more soil i am using *dried* grass clippings, leaves, etc I started rather late in the season. The plants are not as robust as yours. And just this week began to form flower buds. I suppose I will harvest when the plants begin to die. I do not expect much from the harvest.

If I might make a suggestion. Your kids are cute but I just want a tutorial and you talk way too much about irrelevant things. Sorry but it was annoying. You probably would get a lot more thumbs up!

The food processor doesn't spin fast enough. I use my KitchenAid with the container for grains. Ground wheat berries today to make bread.
