5 Things to Know about 2024 TitleIX Changes
A series of updates to federal Title IX regulations include several important changes for UNM faculty, students and staff. The new regulations were approved by the U.S. Department of Education earlier this year and took effect Aug. 1, 2024.
These new regulations align more with other federal discrimination law, expand discrimination reporting requirements, and offer more protection to students for pregnancy or related conditions. Additionally, there is a requirement to complete training on an annual basis.
UNM Title IX Coordinator Angela Catena breaks down the changes for you in our latest Five Things to Know video.

Many people, including many so-called geologists, think that deserts were formed millions of years ago. But they are almost always wrong. Most deserts that we see today were not deserts 5000 to 7000 years ago. These deserts, including the Sahara, were formed relatively recently, about 3000 to 5000 years ago. The remaining question is, were these deserts formed naturally or as a result of excessive human activities, such as mass deforestation, excessive agricultural activities, and over-grazing. It is known and is well documented that the arid land and semi-deserts that we see today in Greece were the results of deforestation and overgrazing.

The situation is sad! Hope the government can remedy the terrible water inequality between wealthy and poor neighbourhoods!
Who the hell would use denatured alcohol to make hand sanitizer? Only stupid people and you're stupid for making this video.
The best change to Title IX would be to throw this sexist POS in the trash can. Full scholarship "women's sports" leech off the money earned by men's football, basketball, and sometimes baseball. We are women hear us be victims and suck the blood of the deserving.
👏 Thanks for sharing.

If only false accusations had the same media outcry as egregious true accounts of SA on campus. Why doesn’t it? Oh right, it’s because this rule is not actually about equality of the sexes, and the violence of reputation destruction is not as sensational and thus monetizable as physical/sexual violence.
30% methanol? All methylated spirits I know of contain about 95% ethanol, the rest being water and methanol, with a little bit of acetone and denatonium benzoate to render it undrinkable.
Can you burn 70% in small containers for cooking with out any carbon monoxide issues
70% means 30% water which makes for a cooler burning camp stove. Stick with 100% denatured alcohol for heating uses.
What happened to me because i accidentally put denatured alcohol in my eyes

Should i use Denatured Alcohol for cleaning or isopropyl alcohol 70% ?
Isopropanol
My hand saniter includes "alcohol denat" in its ingredients, as the alcohol content. Is it bad?
Denatured alcohol just means additives have been added to the alcohol to make it undrinkable for recreation. It depends entirely on what denaturing agents were used for the affect they will produce on your activities
@@tempy2440 Amazing explanation, thank you.
Hey dumb-dumb label your videos properly, your content is no better than “fake news” People that think like you have probably been guzzlin denatured alcohol since prohibition lol
Stay tuned for an updated video featuring interviews with this year's winners about their work. Visit advance.unm.edu/wis to learn more.
Your title is misleading. I am currently using denature alcohol to remove old paint from my wooden fence. When I saw the title I thought I had done something wrong. In addition, the warnings are on the container.
Some times YT needs a "10 Thumbs Up" button!!! DA is the best thing for cleaning, thinning, removing leather dye, wicking away moisture when washing de-rusted tools in vinegar/rinsing in water-baking soda solution. I saw the title and though "HUH"!!!
