My 2017 just turned over 210,000, its the 1.5L with the turbo. I change the engine oil every 3,000 miles and transmission fuid every 30,000, timing belt every 100,000. Runs like the day I bought it new. Of course brakes, battery, air filters, spark plugs, serpentine belt and tires when needed. Interior looks good still. I think it boils down to maintenance. It did eat two water pumps and a CO2 censor. It has been a great car for me. I understand the earlier engines had a head gasket issue due to the engine block water jacket between the number 2 & 3 cylinders.

My 06 Yoda Highlander is a beast and at 220k with few problems at all.. its been well maintained though and plan to get this thing to 3..4..shit maybe 500k.. I've owned 9 vehicles and this is already maybe my favorite... so reliable and useful... You bought one that was a POS tbh and you're surprised its a POS... if these cars aren't taken care of from the start they will far apart bad... but if they are they wont die...

Changing the Oil on Maserati Ghibli is between $300-$400 dollars not $500 ! That’s bs! Also the Car is reliable if you Buy the 2016 Model Ghibli not the 2014 or 2015! They improved the quality on the Ghibli that’s 2016 model 2017 is even better and so on ! The Ghibli SQ4 has a Ferrari Engine 100%! That’s why sounds like Ferrari sound like nothing else out there for less then $30k . If you Buy your own Oil For this Car and you change it at your Shop instead of the Maserati Dealership maybe you’ll save $$$ Hundreds! 🙄 Duhhhhh

Still driving my 2014 Ford escape no problems. Just general maintenance issues.

From 2013 to 2019 they had an available Duramax engine. 2.5 liter. I had one I put 200K miles on and got another (2018) which is as reliable as the first. Went out of my way to get one and it is a great vehicle. I use it for work and they don't let you down.

I found a really nice high mile 04 highlander limited for $3900 brought it home got it inspected and passed emissions no problem. Took it next door to get an estimate on some stone chips on the hood. They took care of it on the spot. Wednesday I got it tinted. Now I’m just gonna drive it to keep the miles off my Tacoma. I got lucky cause I can’t find no issues on my minty 04 with 230k miles.

Don't buy auto there crap...I've got a manual 2.liter diesal 09 plate titanium x .273.000 miles..Still goes like a train..no oil leaks at all..but I do work in ford's garage so I look after my cars 100percent..auto gearboxes are rubbish don't buy them..

1st, I'm not affilitated with Ford in any way. I don't understand your bashing of Ford Escapes. You must be judging them poorly for who knows what reasons. Maybe your not making enough money on them as a dealer? I've had 3 escapes. 2002 (145,000 miles), 2009 153,000 miles) and current 2017 (103,000 miles). Not perfect though. I'm pissed that Ford is discontinuing manufacturing of them. I was also pissed when they changed the body/style design in 2012! Never any major drive train issues. 2009 rust on passenger side rear wheel well and bottom of tailgate like almost every Ford Escape on the road, 2017 windshield pillers blue paint has peedled off (obviously like the 2009 escapes - paint shop is trying to spray paint on body parts that's not prepped properly), leaking water into taillight assembly, constantly getting hit in the head by tailgate because my feet keep tripping the auto tailgate sensor somehow. Never had a flat tire on any of them. Never been left stranded on the road winter or summer. So you must be getting your information from those that are not the brightest lightbulbs in the box. Trump maybe? Change the oil regularly if you want them to last. And I drive my cars hard. I won't admit here how hard. But you keep your non-Ford cars because mine have been GREAT compared to others I've owned. Ford Bronco(s), Granada, Mustang(s). IMO.

I am Owning at 24 Ford Escape that I Absolutely Love after Driving a PO $hit Nissan Rogue. Could not stand the Rogue😵‍💫🤢🤮. The Rogue does not even come close to the Escape for Features and Quality!! After filling the tank 14.8 Gallons and some highway driving, it told me I had Mileage range of 570 Miles. I don’t many gas Vehicles with that kind of range!!

We own a 2016 ford escape. It has 110,000. We have never had a problem with it. We get 30mpg. Use pure synthetic oil. Change every 4000 miles. Keep filters changed and clean. Worst car i had was a chev venture van. Always in the garage. Made lots of trips. Comfortable and easy to drive. If I use regular gas without ethanol I get 35mpg. New tires, new brake pads. Good traction. Bought it new. Its an eco boost too This guy doesn’t know what he is talking about.

Ive bought an 07 highlander with the 2.4 brand new. Still have it with 189k miles and the first problem ive ever had was the starter last week! And only took me 35 minutes to replace myself. What a great car its been.

I have an 06 highlander and it had around 158k on it when I got it and I thought the transmission was starting to slip too turns out it just needed new motor and transmission mounts which was part of the jerking issue also replaced the spark plugs because that had never been done and it runs perfect no issues

I have a 2017 and a 2022. Both of them plus other models have issues with lug nuts that are two piece and they swell and you cannot get them off even with an impact wrench. Ford has had this problem for over ten years. They were sued but won. Then they wanted over 100.00 dollars for replacements. Solution was a box of replacements nuts on Amazon for 25.00 These are solid nuts and no problem. Second problem is the undercarriage cover. The plastic piece that the screw goes in continually breaks and thee cover drags. This is also a problem for years. Simple solution would be to make it out of metal. First two Fords I have ever owned and there will never be another one.

2016 and up are the worst years to buy and drive an Escape . Eco Boost engines are trash be it in the cars or trucks. Engines and turbos go bad and have to be replaced smh 10k plus in cost. Really bad when you're still paying for the vehicle

You talk a lot, so you will probably make a good salesman. However, regarding the Ford Escape (Titanium pkg), my wife bought a new 2015 and we have put almost 109,000 miles on it. The only problem we had was the front axle bearing went out about 4 years ago. Plenty of power and very reliable! If you take care of your vehicle, it will last.

I have a 2016 ford escape for almost 9 years. Never had any trouble with it. Changed tires and battery once. Oil and filter change regularly. Changed cabin filter. Quiet and smooth! I love my "Fluffy"!

Bought a 2013 ford escape used. Did great but…..turned over 100,012 miles and ta dah throwing coolant codes. To the shop x 3 now throwing a abs code. Every other time it’s a check engine light. Today it’s a combination of abs/slippery road surface code annnnnd engine light. $5000 left on the loan. Will never never ever buy another used car. Will only buy a Toyota.
