We are hopeful the calf will recover fully with a little TLC.

Shipping Cow Calf Pairs to Summer Pasture
Переглядів 6 тис.14 днів тому
Our summer pasture is two hours from our home base and so shipping pairs is a bit of production. It signifies the beginning of summer and a time of more rest after the madness of spring. #ranching #cowcalf #pasture #summer #shippingcows #womeninag #womeninagriculture
Just like human teenagers! 😂
Lol, pretty much. 😂
Dandelion tea, supplements and salads. Dandelion roots, leaves and flowers are highly nutritious, a potent antioxidant, good for liver cleanse, blood and heart health. Etc!
@@InvincibleJennifer I’d like to try making Tea one of these days! Dandelions r very versatile…..they just don’t pay the bills 😅
And if you’re the one using it, one would say it should be you to replace it.
a good fence can take years to pay for itself. I’m not going to pay for a new fence when I have no guarantee that I will b able to collect the benefits of a new fence. U don’t fix things for your landlord, it’s just not practical in most circumstances 🤷🏼♀️. Doesn’t work for renting houses and doesn’t work for grazing cattle
WOW 🤯 That is an incredible story!! I’m so glad the calf made it back home to its mom!! Thank you for sharing!! 💜💜🐮💜
Jellyfish may have jelly for legs ,but jellyfish has a brilliant brain finding the warm straw bedded barn just before the snow fell. How is Jellyfish doing now
She is thriving, she still runs a bit funny, but doesn’t let it stop her from keeping up with the other calves!

Mamas and babies out to pasture! As a non-farmer, it’s fun to see the process! I personally love to hear all the sounds of the animals instead of music, but that’s just me! Thanks for sharing your life with us!
Lol, thanks for feedback. I’ll try to include that more in the future! But sometimes I use music cause the main sound is wind 😅
@@barefootviews Totally understand!
Le bb doit être sous sa mère et tété
Momma Cow was waiting to see you so you could free her baby. ❤🖤
If ya don’t laugh, you’ll cry! 😊
We always had 20 or so cows and for the 30 plus years we never had a set of twins nor had my fathers farm . I can’t imagine having 3 sets in a week of so .
That’s a long time to go without twins! 😮 we had 5 sets total this year, but they came with lots of problems and 6 out of 10 lived, so they weren’t very much fun this year!
Cows aren’t the brightest. I mean, we make wallets out of them
Could be worse. Glad you noticed 🥰
Why does she look like the girl from Jurassic Park?
Lol, funnily enough I have been told this before 😆
What fid the post mortem say as to the causes if deaths ???
I unfortunately don’t have the time and resources to take every unexplained death for autopsy.
Instead of talkin shite . Push the calf under yhe fence ffs
Her little foot stamp in frustration sent me
Trying to baptize while birth.
😂😂
🤨 don't yell at the mama LMAO you try holding in a baby!
I hope they gave the calf back to the cow, you can see she is getting stressed 😮
Yes, but I had to drag it far enough away from the water first without her trying to kill me.
Horse owners sometimes do want is called the madagin squeeze on foals. That’s in addition to anything else the vet recommends.
I’ve seen a lot of cattle guys do it too, never have tried to do it myself yet but isn’t it often used for a lethargic calf/foal with no suck reflex? This calf had plenty of try and suck reflex, just no coordination.
Calves are little fast running backs. You need a calf hook its like a sheep hook and a partner. Momma doesn't co operate either. Though decision😢😢😢
That’s actually how I caught him 😄
I feel your pain! I got one that was born with a fever! 🥵
Who u talking about ??
Same with Gold Shaw on UA-cam
I always wondered what do farmers do with dead animals.
Even when you both do everything perfectly there will still be some loss. Focus instead on all the stock that is thriving with you.
❤❤❤
Poor momma! She does have pretty face!
That little calf is precious and mama is so beatiful too
Rejection can feel the heart
Human s are being bad for this nature and it is not good because After12years the earth will be destroyed so who is with me?
You're human. Its ok to have a problem with that. Necropcy?
Not this time. We don’t usually get them done unless we have more than one death that is kinda unexplainable.
Can't I just chill here please 🥺
i like how the cow double backs on you when he say only a week old
Calf was cold, surprised it wasn't under your bed or in it. 😊😊😊😊😊
lol
That looks like a robin egg they're really cute
You're probably right. Had a rock pigeon build a nest on my balcony last year. They're terrible nest builders lol
It looks like a robin egg to me too. Just wish this one had picked a more stationary location 😅
Nice calf and moma too
Lex chi u uh uh hmm thy was hj ok k?
Cute ♥️ 😍
I see that the calf’s front legs are curved. Good luck with it. ❤
Oh not the animal.....the muscle 😂😂😂
Hypertrophy?
Sometimes they sit a little weird in the uterus and come out with tendons a bit long or short, it tends to fix itself as they gain some coordination and muscle.
Selenium and dextrose
Why did that calf stay back from mom. Once he’d seen her?
Cause he’s only a day old and I woke him up from his nap, he was still waking up. 😆
The sound of them munching on the grass at the end❤also is that a dog or fox😮
Lol, he’s a blue heeler.
Get that calf some selenium!
Thinking of changing bulls? lol what a situation. I’ve fed so many babies while growing up. My dad had a large family and always a couple dozen cows. Best childhood ever. Best wishes to your family and critters.
So friggin cute ❤
“Don’t you bite that ankle”😂
