I use clear heat tape to tape the corners of the 2 loose pads. They no longer slide. The no bottom handle is very hard for me as a 5’0 112 lb 64 year old woman… AND I have a hard time figuring it out… right now I am Holding this down..l how to I get the handle to clamp down? I have a Ve or auto press and a 15x 15 press that I use. This one is a struggle

I just started getting into sublimation. So far I have an SG1000 with the 13x9 tray. It sits in the garage as a paperweight. Waste of money. I got the HTVRONT 15x15. It overheats and errors at 377 degrees. Be sure to keep your packing material and give yourself a return/warranty window of time so you don’t end up with very expensive bookends.
I’m no electrician but I have a Vevor 16x24 coming from Amazon. I want the surface area and I can’t argue about the price, especially if it works for a while.Lol
Remove the buttons and sew back on when finished. Jersey looks great!

Bro - you still aren't pulling back the sweat ring.

Watching because I just got one. There's a couple things I see that are causing some problems. You needed to roll back the sweat ring before you lock down the cap. That's why you aren't getting heat to the end of the pink stripe.
I usually do that but not all the time. That could have been why for sure.
What is the little lever that goes up and down for? I just bought one and I got mine for $130.
@@dianagranado3764 that is used to assist in holding the hat nice and tight unto the machine
So whats the method you discoverded to work faster with the not-moving plate?
I would pre place the transfer sheet on the garment and then fold it to place it on the transfer. That way it sat on the heat press better since I could not get as good of an angle. But that's what worked for me. We have purchased a new slide out 16x20 Ricoma press and its night and day difference.

Great video. I'm curious because I'm trying to decide BETWEEN the Vevor "manual" vs the "auto" press. You mentioned the hand press gives you more size versatility. What's your quick opinion between the two?
Thank you! Honestly between that specific vevor press and the Giraffe Auto I would recommend the giraffe for most situations. The down side is the size of the Giraffee auto press so that could be some issues which is why the vevor gives your more versatility. We sent that back and got the auto press from Ricoma and we are loving that.
@@RIDGCustoms Thanks for the quick reply. The Ricoma is more than I want to spend, which is why I'm considering the Vevor... seems like a great value for what you get. I'm just not sure about Hand press (with adjustability) vs the Auto press. The Hand 4 in 1) vs the Auto (3 in 1). What would you do between the two Vevors?
