Odd... at the beginning of the 3rd Qtr - 1:01:15 - Edwards #3 has his name on his jersey, but #24 does not. Why's that?
You’ll see that on special teams plays. So the player wearing 24 shares a number with someone else on the kickoff team. Since you can’t have 2 of the same number on the field at the same time one has to switch. So they have a slip over jersey that can take off super quick with Velcro holding it in place on the field. The refs will also announce the number change before the play it happens in.
