I’m not all too familiar with Earthspark due to a lot of things. I’m not all too familiar enough of a fan of the other mediums other than Prime, MTMTE, Lost Light, Bayverse, the games, the Anime and cyberverse. Seeing this interaction is something I feel differently about Earthspark. I do think that Soundwave would have had Megatron’s back in this. He believed in the cause, that’s why he stuck with Megatron all this time, and if Megatron felt change was needed to be had, I really think Soundwave would have sided with him on that, maybe even joined him and rallied the others as well. Seeing as in MTMTE, Soundwave sent Ravage to speak to Megatron, to see if it was still the leader they believed in, and of course Soundwave got regular reports on their conversations, so even when he knew that Megatron is hellbent on changing and accepting his death, Soundwave never interfered other than through Ravage. Sure Ravage gave some pushback initially but stayed until the end, allowing Soundwave to be there still. That’s why I dont agree with Soundwave ever fighting Megatron even if he defects from being their leader. He wont like what Megatron did, he won’t agree, and he might not even join, but I really dont believe he would take up arms against him.

no one mentions how in the 86 movie when starscream throws megatron off of astrotrain, soundwave lets him do it, so megatron has every right to say the same back to him since earthspark is canon to g1
