Sorry but this sounds bad

The drummer misses all of the subtle parts that make this song what it is. The fills are wrong, most of the bass drum patterns are wrong, and the cymbal work isn't good. The fact I Guitarists are great. With a better drummer you guys would bail this song. Those drums sound cheap too. That snare needs some work too.

That's your opinion man and I don't know what you have been listing to, but metal doesn't suck. Cynic was a metal band and they where great then and they are great. There are bands still like Cynic today, but only if you've only heard the 'brutal' heavy side of metal and ignored the 'beautiful' heavy side of meta, then you are missing out.

No wonder Mario has amazing vocals, it must be family genes or something haha.

@blumpkincrew may be a bit late but I totally agree... I was at this concert a while back and everybody was moshing like decent metalheads. So I think it's safe to go in and join. At which point some hardcore piece of shit comes in and starts acting like a human windmill on crack and.....punches me in the face. With his elbow. Result = broken nose for two weeks. Fucker didn't even say sorry even though the "crack" sound was pretty fucking audible. Even the band mentioned it after the song.

I remember that part. I laughed when Blake did the ba-duh tss thing. Such an awesome concert.

Nope, not at all. I had the best spot in the house: right on the barrier dead-center. I got tons of "hellos" and hi-fives and funny gestures from Devin, as well as the best view of the musicianship. I'm not jealous of a kid in a hot-dog costume dancing around on stage and failing at singing the song; entertained, perhaps, but not jealous.

@FireOnTheSurface I was in the front. The girl kept trying to tell me things the whole concert and leaning on me and my friend. Tried to crowd surf several times and was pretty annoying. Also talked to the hot dog guy a lot outside. He didn't seem to be into devin so much, more into metalcore and stuff.

That hot dog kid was actually pretty fuckin' lame. I was up front and he didn't even know the lyrics to the song, yet he kept pretending he did. He failed when he actually sung into the mic, so I was laughing. And then the drunk bitch who climbed up there and tried to kiss Devin I was hysterical with laughter. At least it was entertaining, in a pathetic way. lol

@lumaric01 No, Phil Labonte sounds like shit at every live show. If you listen to his tracks on CD's, he's got about 3 different vocal tracks recorded so he doesn't sound like shit.
