Welcome to the Aircooled Connection!! We are a few good friends that share the same passion for old VW's of all sorts, even some Watercooleds!
We will cover a number of different topics that fall within the world of the VW family. We will have "in no particular order" How-to's, Artists, collectors, shows and business owners, we will be covering it all. For while we're just starting out, we're shooting to have shows come out ever other Monday for now. We are also in the process of building our Facebook presence.

Fred is a cool guy. My first bus was a 74 too. It was a decent orange and white shell of a passenger bus with no engine or transmission, 4 bald tires and just a rear bench seat for interior. Got it in the summer of 95 for my 16th birthday for $200.

I had a 73 thing with gas heater all through college!!!! GIRL hook that sucker up, those are the German gas heaters not the Stuart Warner ones, safe as long as you make sure replace all hoses and do basic routine inspections...that’s 180 degrees of forced air heat! They will run you out they get the cab so toasty!
I'm in the process of putting a diesel heater in my van right now. Jon already has one in his and it's a life changer in the cold months.
@@theaircooledconnection7192 yep, I’ve run both gas heater types for years, never any issues...just like anything maintain and routine checks
