Another year on the road
Приєднався 5 сер 2023
Hi we are Steven and Frances and we love to see new places and travel around in our motorhome, and on our scooter. Our channel is all about our travels, with some helpful tips and advice we've learned along the way.
We’ve been going away abroad in our motorhome for the last 7 winters, and our last adventure took in Spain, Morocco and France as well as the U.K. In the summer we have adventures in the U.K. whilst preparing our motorhome for its next long trip. In the last year we’ve upgraded our solar and battery system as well as making other improvements.

Our return ferry trip from Morocco to Spain
The last of our Moroccan motorhome adventure videos is our return trip from Tanger Med in Morocco to Algeciras in Spain. We caught the ferry and show Tanger Med port and the ferry back to Spain, including exporting our motorhome.
If you're interested in the ferry to Morocco, we have another video, and for Moroccan trip inspiration, including our motorhome stops, you can see our playlist.

Kenitra in Morocco by motorhome.
Переглядів 45Місяць тому
One of the last stops in our 2024 Moroccan tour was to the seaside town of Kenitra. We loved the beach and the promenade and even though it was Ramadan it had quite a vibe to it. It's somewhere we'd like to go back to. This is the last of this tours Moroccan place videos, if you would like to see the rest we've put a playlist together of all the places we stayed, and our thoughts both good and ...
Another year on the road celebrates one year on YouTube

We celebrate our first year as UA-camrs by looking back at some of the great motorhome adventures we've had. While our main motorhome tour was our epic adventure of Spain, Morocco and France we also visited Wales earlier in the year. Thank you to our subscribers and watchers for supporting us in our first year.
We visit Marakech in our Motorhome
Переглядів 76Місяць тому
Our next stop was a campsite on the edge of Marakech, so that we could explore the hustle and bustle ourselves. It's a bit more western than the rest of Morocco, but still a great friendly place to visit, although you do need eyes in the back of your head for all those scooters. Thanks for watching, if you're interested in Morocco see our playlist for the rest of our Moroccan adventure. Please ...
Driving one of Morocco's most dangerous passes the Tizi n Tichka pass in a motorhome with trailer
Переглядів 101Місяць тому
Continuing our Moroccan motorhome adventure we drove from Ouarzazate to Marakech via one of the world's most dangerous roads the N9 and the Tizi n Tichka pass. So how did we find it in our 7 meter a class, towing a trailer? Watch to find out. Thanks for watching, please support us by subscribing to our channel.
Ait benhadou, the movie ksar in Morocco
Переглядів 282 місяці тому
Our next stop in Morocco was the town / Ksar of Ait Benhaddou. It's known as the place they filmed films like The Mummy and Gladiator, and was somewhere we really wanted to go, unfortunately it turns out the place wasn't for us. Thanks for watching, please support us by subscribing to our channel.
We added solar and an inverter to our trailer
Переглядів 1952 місяці тому
When we swapped to lithium batteries last year, we still had two leisure batteries and an inverter which were ok. We decided to buy a cheap 100 watt solar panel and add solar to our trailer in case we ever needed more power. Thanks for watching, please support us by subscribing to our channel.
We've added tilt to our motorhome's solar panels
Переглядів 1822 місяці тому
We have changed our solar panels to tilting ones so that we can maximise our solar return for off grid motorhome life. This is how we did it. Thank you for watching, please support us be subscribing to our channel.

Do I see Harry Hymer ??
We were there beginning of April, about a week before ramadan ended, where you the hymer opposite us (had dinner with some moroccans)😍
Awesome share
Thanks
Such beauty and yet everyone heads abroad
There are so many beautiful places in the U.K. 😍, although we’re definitely guilty of heading abroad for better weather in the winter.
Nice video. Greetings from Jamaica.
Thanks and hi 👋
My City of Fam Zguid
@@abdelhamid1868 it was one of our favourite stops 😍
I am really glad that you were in the small town where I was born and lived all my childhood. Thank you for posting this video of the small town.
Despite the high temperature
It' was hot, but ts lovely there 😍
I have been following your channel for almost a month, your videos are great. But, although your video is good, I am a bit disappointed with the number of views. I noticed that your video's SEO (Search Engine Optimization) score is zero and your thumbnail is not eye-catching. Addressing these issues will help grow your channel organically.
Thanks for the great advice, I’ll work on it.

Hi.Thinking of driving from Santander to Benidorm. You mentioned the coast road rather than going across land. Can you say which route you took, please? Thanks for sharing your trip.
Hi we went A8 past bilbao, then n240, towards a68 and then a23 to Teruel (stayed at free aire there), then A23 to Ap7 past Valencia. We stayed at benissa as we were a day early for our booking, it’s only about 40 minutes from Benidorm. Then follow Ap7 to Benidorm. The longest drive was the first day to Teruel which was about 7 hours as we drive slowly. I’ve probably missed a few steps, but hopefully it gives you an idea of our route, we chose non toll all the way, but you could save time by taking the Ap68 to Teruel not sure how much it is. Enjoy your trip 😍, it’s a beautiful drive.
@@Anotheryearontheroad Thanks so much. Sorry for the late reply, I just saw your message Really excited about the trip. Will look at the Google map now. This will really help. Thanks again.
Very good thanks 😊👍
I’m glad you enjoyed it 🥰
I like the artwork. Same fella who did John's paintwork, he seems to offer work on several sites from Agadir down to Tiznit. Happy travels, see hope to see you in Spain and/or Morocco later this year :)
I love my camel, the artist is definitely busy. Hopefully see you later this year x
Oh a beautiful trip to Casablanca, which was made was famous due to the film . Nice to Ricks cafe ,along with your taxi ride ❤❤❤
Thanks we really enjoyed it
Such a nice walking tour 😍, thanks for showing us around 👍.Greetings from England 🇬🇧 Simon and Beth 🔔💕👍❤️
I’m glad you enjoyed it 😍
Looks nice there❤x
It's lovely x
My next destination. Definitely this year , hopefully around Christmas. ❤
It's definitely a beautiful country, and there's some lovely sites like this one, and some less good ones lol. Eventually I'll catch up with the full videos lol, but there's so much to see and enjoy. Enjoy planning your trip for Christmas 😍
😊
It's on the all of Africa ...there is no rules in Africa
It's not so bad now we're more used to it
Looks lovely x
It's a nice site x
Great again. How much was this taxi please? In Moroccan and English Pounds cheers. Probably a good idea getting a Taxi. Did you have good air conditioning
Hi it was 600 dirhams, so about £48. It was a 6 seater though. I think a 4 seater taxi is 500 dirhams (about £40) we booked it with the campsite (Ocean blue() reception. Don't know about air con as we went on a cloudy day so didn't need it 😀
You did the right thing but is their a bus or tram
You can get a train from Mohammedia, I'm not sure about the bus
@@Anotheryearontheroad thank you and I love your commentary both of you are having a wonderful adventure and exhibition. You are like Lara Croft from Tomb Raider having the best time. Good on you most people stay at home in England worrying about their heating bill. Well done escaping the rat race.
Aww thank you 😊
No info or insight to ships restaurant or facilities waste of time
We didn't go to the restaurants, as stated. We did mention the bar, and as its our experience we only ever cover what we use 😀. I believe you can find out about the restaurants on their website and other blogs.
Great keep go IN. نشجعكم على مواصلة
Thanks
Welcome to morocco enjoye is worm here
Thanks 😄

Thanks, it's a lovely site x
On our list for 25
Have fun planning, Spain is a great country
Wow they are big
Yes it was x
Hi Can you walk from campsite to Benidorm Thanks Ron
Camping Benidorm is in benidorm, but at the albir end. It took us about half an hour to walk to the beach or the strip, it's about an hours walk to the old town. The number 10 bus does stop straight outside. There are a few bars close by, mostly selling English food and beer
I thought you done Fantastic 😀
Aww thanks 😊
Looks lovely x
Thanks x
This would have been so much more interesting if there was not so much complaining about other tourists probably in the same situation as your selfs that is unsure of procedures but there you go
Thanks for the feedback
Enjoy your stay !
Thank you 😀
Looks nice there x
Thanks x
Most of what you show is the car park next to the aire. The aire is nearly always full of long/full time residents including caravans. Parking is tolerated at the moment in the car park.
Yes to be fair you are right, we've got a trailer so we were parked on the car park. Last year when we stayed there the car park was also full and they're was about 6 motorhomes in aldis. This was the quietest I've seen it for a few years, but it was a Sunday.
Love it
Thanks 😁
Un camping muy tranquilo
Si 😍
Hi just subscribed, enjoyed your vlogs ………can’t wait until we’ve left in less than a week Xx
Thanks, and enjoy your trip x
Interesting video and good insight. When was that journey? Looks a bit like October or so?
Thanks, we got the ferry evening of 30th November and arrived in Spain morning of the 2 December. Think we were really lucky with the weather and crossing, I think it's the calmest it's been when we've been on it.
Very bad video there is a clear female voice and a male voice mumbling and grunting in the background.
Thanks for the feedback 😀
Have a great day
Thanks you too 😀
Awesome
Thanks 😃
Definitely getting some of this stuff. 👍
It's really useful stuff 😍
That’s actually a decent tip. I have subscribed in the hope of more to follow. 👍
Glad you like it 😂, and thanks 😊
