Fantastic, the voice and instrument go together so well! Yes, the daddy of the banjo🪕and the origin of the popular clawhammer, frailing, playing technique. More generally, Africa's foundational contribution to the basis of popular music in the modern western world is undeniable.

Nice sounding Cbg there! Mine is also a 3 string tuned to Gdg. Mine is fretted. On my cbg I use a NAPA 5/8" standard depth 3/8 drive 12 point socket. So, it's a stubby one, but works good for me on the narrow neck. I sometimes use it on my 6 string guitars too.

The Saz is a Turkic instrument- I know there's plenty of people who would get unreasonably angry hearing it be called an arabic instrument This is an awesome looking instrument, and I love the utilisation of Zither pegs

Small can, like a olive can canjo are more classified as a can diddly bo. But four string and five string banjos were wildly made from what could be found, later banjos had found such popularity that just about every furniture company also made banjos all through the 1920's

It's a socket- not a wrench. And a 36" socket 'wrench' (he means socket in mm) would be as long as or longer than the guitar.
