I especially love the kitchen, it`is truly inspiring.
what a wonderful place!
This castle is disconcerting because of its unusual architecture and its mix of old and modern inside. I fell in love with the fantastic and bucolic garden. Once again, a magnificent video. As usual when I watch you, I didn't see the time pass. A big THANK YOU to you.
@@lairdtomfrenchelectromusic2545 thankyou once again Tom, it certainly is a mix as you say! Thanks for sticking with us
Beautiful house filled with history. Loved the gardens and the enchanting fountain 😊❤. Big thumbs up 👍
Wow! Amazing tour and fantastic voice-over 😊❤. Such a beautiful castle, steeped in history 😍🏰
@@MattandBecExplores-lt9vf Thankyou guys so much from both of us! Such great feedback 👍
It's great isn't it ❤
We have been there a few times, really nice to see it since the renovation 👍
Very enjoyable, you wouldn't think it was early 20th century! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
This has to be one of our favourites! The interiors are stunning. Such an amazing place to visit
Wow..... gorgeous houses, gorgeous stained glass , gorgeous french windows......l want one! 😅🥰
Great video - I remember visiting the Abby on my scooter when a student at Dartington College of Arts 1966 - I loved it then !
Loved this 👍 great video and very tranquil, perfect for a Sunday morning!
A place that exudes tranquility. The voice-over, the music and the shots accentuate this feeling of serenity even more. A big thank you once again for making me travel. :)
I can whole heartedly agree! 👍
@@lairdtomfrenchelectromusic2545 Thanks again, this was such a pleasure to visit and film
Absolutely stunning.
@@vern1588 Thankyou!
Why can we not regenerate these places people are homeless yet we leave these to rot. I am sure people would love to live there.
Apparently the National Trust own the buildings and the old Mill. Hopefully they'll do something with them ASAP before some idiots ruin them forever.
Who pays the electricity bill?
@@allysonbricknall8808 the area is owned by a national company, so they must be being billed
These cottages should be restored in order to house people. It is criminal to let them rot like this.
It’s things like this that prove we don’t have a housing shortage.
Lovely garden this house,🏛️❤️🏛️🌾🌾🌸🌾🌼🪴🌳🌿🌾🌅🥀i love.🙌〰️〰️👍

Hi what camrea are you using please
@@TheUrbanExplorer24 hi , we use the dji osmo pocket 3
@18milessouth Thank you great quality
Another empy place all these should house people
Could of been used for military or army training in the 80s where properties down in rural Dorset are like this, or some sort of test area, this area would be great for the homeless who ever owns this land and houses.
Thank you very much for this melancholic walk and for the history of this place. :)
@@lairdtomfrenchelectromusic2545 thankyou Tom 👍
What a pleasure to find a gentleman playing saxophone in the church! Something you don't expect but was lovely to meet him and to learn some of the church history from him 😊
It would be wonderful if good people were able to find ways of taking other good like-minded people on tours of places like this. Charter a coach etc.
So sad these places could be brought back to life
It should be compulsory purchased as should all long abandoned buildings including those in our towns and cities/brown field sites and converted into accommodation. I live in South Devon and we have an estimated 5000 homeless people living in our area, a disgraceful situation in the 21at century in what is supposed to be a civilised first world country. The fat cat owners should be ashamed.
It's interesting that you assume the owners have vast wealth. Why?
Very enjoyable
Would love to know exactly where this place is. But I understand that you can’t say
What a waste, who owns these buildings??? What an absolute shame they’ve been left to ruin, it won’t be long until they are unfixable
@@LB13579 it's a real shame, gutting to see them just left
Such an atmospheric castle, love Berry Pomeroy. Enjoyed your video, beautiful explore! Thank you for your tour!
@@PinnedonPlaces thankyou very much. It's a beautiful place. We have some similar videos coming soon. Love your channel, have just subscribed and look forward to some binge watching 👍
Wow, I was at an army camp in Hampshire about 40 years ago and this is the spitting image of where we were housed, right down to the barrier at the side. It brings back lots of memories.
Great find and not ruined like most places but now it is how did the word get out of where it is what a shame
@@paulukjames7799 yes it was a really nice place, no idea how the word got out but I expect through social media
Good morning, guys As someone who has been to this location ❤ I greatly appreciate the time and effort to make this video . The sound effects and video 📹 quality is on par 👌

Still very beautiful not much to fix up❤ watching from Canada I know where it is now UK or England
@@joannemarion9261 Indeed you are right , this is in Southern England ☺️
Which country is this in
Why is it abandoned ?
I would love to live there!!
It never ceases to amaze me that there are so many people who are homeless and you have all these abandoned places which can easily be brought back to livable condition for the homeless people
The problem is location. These places are abandoned because the industry they supported is no longer there. And homeless people need more support to get back on their feet than can be provided in such remote locations. I think there are good things that could be done with such places, but they have to be almost self supporting.
I used to work on the upkeep of properties used for housing the homeless. Trust me - if you refurbished those buildings - they would end up back in this state.
Very nice
