Any flight schools around Dallas you would recommend
Is this an expensive helicopter to own for personal leisure?
Well, helicopters are more expensive to maintain than basic piston airplanes. I think it has an operating cost of about $350 per hour which is not too bad. Much less expensive than turbine helicopter. I think it is comparable to the R22, but with a better safety record.
Owned a 300 for many years. Great little chopper. Did aerial photography while flying it
So Nice. How much was your total weight ( fuel + pilot + co pilot)?. I really want to buy one of those but I need to do operation and land at 6200 feet with 3 persons (pilot + 2 passenger) but I dont know if is possible. What you think about it?
I do not think that will probably work. I have done 6100 feet with 2 200 lb people. That is me and passenger. it was 30 degree F. It did it easily but add a third person and I do not think so. I think an Enstrom would be a better choice for what you are looking for.
Almost looks like 395 in California between Bridgeport and Lake Topaz. But I think you are in WA.

whats up with the excesive cyclic movements
What excesive (sic) movements?
haha, it may seem like a lot of cyclic input but once you have flown you will recognize thats about right! Helicopters do not naturally want to fly, let alone in a stable way.
It didn't land
Who makes up these titles?
Great video. What river is that?
Can't remember name, but in central Washington State.
Reminds me of flying Schweizers with Northern Skies Aviation out of Laurel, Mt..early 2000’s. Beautiful country. This place has more shrub and ground cover though..Utah maybe?😊
Old c model,tapped out,80 knots indicated 😍🤣
That was way cool. Great skills.
Thank you
Nicely done! I need to do more mountain flying.
Hi guys, stop by and take me with you next time you go! LOL
Muito bonito vídeo
I got rides like that a long time ago in the Grand Canyon and in Sedona, AZ. Now there are so many rules, they can't fly like that any more. Ah, those were the good ole days!!
$$$? Location?
Tieton State airport in Central WA.
Sorry. I have it for sale for $61K. It has a RotorX governor on it which is rare and a new water jacket kit. It is stored in Yakima, WA. 509-910-7061
