Guten Abend Um den Weg bei den Längssaiten zum Knoten zu verkürzen, lasse ich die beiden eng liegenden Ösen am Kopf frei um dann von aussen nach innen zu kommen. Die Knoten sind unten dann kurz (Saitenforum; fritzhimself). Haben Sie sich bewusst dagegen entschieden? Reines Interesse, vielleicht übersehe ich etwas!? Besten Gruß

How many feet of string is necessary for both the mains and the crosses?

Be careful with using a table break when tensioning a string, it may hurt the tension head. When you pull a string at an angle you are putting lateral forces on the tension head.
