He's not right on the longevity of digital recordings. Pure audio file format is so simple it won't ever change, it is just a stream of bits. And there is no danger of losing them cause everything can be cheaply backed up on cloud systems. The only thing changing is the daw and the project file formats, but even the plugin software is compatible on open standards. Using software is nothing to shy away from. Just keep your raw audio files and you can always reproduce, remix, remaster them whenever you want to.

Now I'm remembering waiting for this album to come out. How crazy. I saw Denali several times. One my favorite shows to go to. Maura inspired my singing style.

Thanks for putting these up! I fell in love with Denali many years ago and figured there would never be any more Maura Davis music this is Christmas in July for me! We need to figure out a way to reach out to her and do a patreon or something to get more of her music out! Such a great vocalist.

I started getting into Denali pretty heavily around 2007 and spent some years following the various members and their various projects in the aftermath of Denali disbanding. Ambulette was one of my favorites but I only had ever seen a few songs from them on their MySpace or under certain Pandora channels (I guess from their EP). The band was gone before they ever had a chance to catch on but these songs are absolutely brilliant. I don’t know what triggered me to search for their music on UA-cam today but you absolutely have made my day by uploading this. What a wonderful and deep album.
