Skewer holds axle securely in frame... it's just there to clamp axle...the wheel components roll around axle.

2:32 its called a skewer not an axle

That thing is not an axle, Sir, it is a "quick release skewer". The actual axle is the "tube" where the skewer (bolt) gets inserted. QR skewer will get perfectly straight when under tension. I agree with the comment below that you just had a loose cassette. Thank you for the video

This "axle" is just used to hold two parts of the quick release together, and has nothing to do with the wobble. And, of course, no proof of fixing the wobble in the end. This video is a complete fiction

Stationary skewer (the part you removed) and stationary sprockets means it's not the skewer.

It happened to me ...my bike new ...0 km...the problem cames from hub slide n cassete slide...just try add 1 thin spacer before put cassete

The skewer just pulls the chain stays tightly against the hub lock nuts. Never going to be the source of a wobble.

Its normal on a BALL BEARING HUB...but if its to much woble..u can fix it by removing Spacer in the freehub...there are 4 spacer..u can remove the thiner one

And exactly how do you re-align bearings? LOL If they have been in the hub for a long time, you replace them. This is the last guy I will follow for bike repair advice. Anyone who buys into this is a fool

Replacing the axle didn't fix the wobble. The cassette lock ring was loose. Look at the footage at 18 seconds and you'll see the whole cassette is moving on the stationary qr skewer.
