Contrasting affinities define the Haussmannian home of French architect, Sophie Dries.
“I would describe my apartment as a beautiful paradox,” Dries explains. “A play between raw and precious, a dialogue between contemporary and classic with a special attention to texture.”
Furling Gaetano Pesce resin vases add pops of colour, while pieces of Dries’ own design - be it the crescent shaped Croissant Sofa or the sculptural Glow Pendants - reveal a fascination with experimental shapes and textures.

Taking eclectic to another level 👏
I am obsessed with this apartment. Not just the Beautiful pieces of furniture and art, but the entire Architectural details the marble tiles in the foyer, to the gilded, but not over powering details above the doors. I wish these videos would be longer. Will allow us to know more about the interior designer/artist and what influenced him to choose those items.
To be honest I personally don’t particularly like how this apartment is decorated. We don’t all have to admire and like the same things.
No, they are not forcing anyone to admire or like any of the things. They are just showing what they like, what they collect and how they live.

So many moving elements and so much room for error, but she makes it work and the results look effortless. No sets of things; nothing precisely matches, but everything relates.
